hello and thanks for sharing this. i have more or less the same problem with my ipf 785. i removed and cleaned the print head, afterwards ink was not getting to the printhead for all colors. Any idea how to solve this?
Hello, I advice to change the print head + purge unit to make it function again. The cost of repairing is high, you may get quo from your local supplier first
I thanks for sharing your video. My problem with that same model that I own is the paper won’t pick up. It keep saying “paper not detected “. I purchased four new rolls and I’m still getting the same message. Do you know how to fix this issue. Thanks you
Are you trying load roll form ? What about cut sheet? Can it be loaded ? Try check around is that any tiny paper stuck inside… or something has blocked the sensor, if yes… kindly clear it

hi my issue is this: hardware error 03800500-2f40
after i put the new head it gv me this issue and asks me to turn off n turn on the printer. when i print i can only see black colors the cmy is not printing in nozzle check. what to do?
Is that your case similar to this video ? If all ink is fully loaded in ink tubes it might be purge unit stuck , please refer my another video in my channel for “how to service purge unit”

Can i clean the head manually without losing much ink ?
That’s the bad thing for head cleaning in Canon system, it will flushing a lot of inks, if you wanna clean it manually .. it is abit risky, you may try clean it with spirit(alcohol) I never try before… I afraid the alcohol will damage the chip and head

Does the air effect the printhead or a clean fix it
And how much can the printhead last is there a limit ?
The related parts are purge unit , print head and also carriage unit. You may try air pump into cartridge first , if problem still happen.. you have to clean your purge unit

Do you have any idea how much does it cost
@@user-vq9dv4qv2l have to check your local vendor my friend , at Malaysia we only have iPF771 , for iPF770 I am not sure it’s able to hook up with L36 or not ..it used to be stand alone scanner , which i can using it without connect to any iPF. The price for it is about USD2000 (3 years ago)The current model L36ei only function with TM5200 & TM5300, you can’t using it with others model

If the ink not flow in, you might need to replace ink supply unit / purge unit
