RESET Maintenance Tank - Plotter Canon IPF-670 and IPF-770

- In this video I show you how to reset the Maintenance Tank for the Canon printer model IPF 670/680 and IPF 770/780.
You can not do this if your tank is already full.
Attention: DO NOT REUSE A TANK THAT IS ALREADY FULL, IT MAY LEAK.
Only do this procedure if your tank is going to be full soon and you don't have a new one at hand.
Thank you Joao. The ipf780 enters differently in Service Mode: 1) Turn off the printer power.2) Turn on the power while pressing the [Load] key and [Navigate] key.* Keep pressing the above keys until "Initializing" is displayed.3) "S" appears at the top right of the display. Follow Joao's instructions

Para los que tienen dudas yo lavé las esponjas del cartucho de mantenimiento hasta eliminar toda la tinta, lo puse en la misma posición y está funcionando de maravilla 😁
Si al presionar los botones de load+naviget no enciende q puedo hacer?
@@anaonofre8127 presionas ambos botones y luego boton power de encender una vez q desaparezca el logo de canon ahi recien sueltas y listo ami me funciono

Thank you for the video. Can you tell when the tank is actually full after a reset? Does the machine tell you or do you need to inspect? Also, how many times can you reset before it needs to be replaced... or can it be emptied and reused again? Many thanks.
The only way to tell if the maintenance tank is full after this is inspecting it or when you see ink dropping from the printer 😅. I already did it 5 times when it gets to 40% and still have a lot of room left.

love this video are u able to tell me how to reset the SP1 which is the ink tube unit. Id like to get this reset since the tubes are in perfect condition and the printer isnt worth the cost to replace them so id like to just run the printer until an issue happens since i do have a new printer to replace my current printer once there are issues.
1. As I read in your comments this procedure is when you want to empty your tank and of course you don't have a new one. As a new user, the maintenace tank is reusable? Can I empty it and use it again? According to you I can use the same tank forever . Probably this is for one time if you don't have a new tank

Great video, thank you!. It works great. I did reset without removing M-tank. Coud you tell me how can I check if the M-tank is full? If I remove the m-tank before reseting, will I be able to plug in the same m--tank and then, reset it? I am a little bit worried that printer will not allow me to plug the same cartridge. Please advice.

Olá João. Ao Entrar no modo de manutenção, exibe o "S" no canto superior como o vídeo, não some a mensagem de troca do cartucho de manutenção. Não consigo entrar no Menu pra fazer o reset do cartucho. Saberia uma solução?

@@aruize78 No amigo solo presione los dos botones que muestra luego vas a mantenimiento, si es que te salen lineas alrrededor del un texto o de un grafico , y se activan las tintas otra cosa mas facil para poner el papel lo presionan hacia abajo para que agarre rapido el canon ipf 670

Olá João, quantos reset é possível em um cartucho de manutenção da IPF 770?
Eu sempre faço reset na minha quando chega em 40% para não correr o risco de esquecer, já fiz 5 vezes e ainda tem espaço de sobra pra pelo menos mais umas 4 vezes, já tenho a impressora há 4 anos e nunca troquei o cartucho.
