Spanish Galleon ANDALUCIA at Southend Pier on 1 June 2023. ANDALUCIA is a 17th Century Spanish Galleon replica.and was built during 2009 to 2010 by the Nao Victoria Foundation. She was moored at Southend Pier during the end of May bank holiday weekend and half term school holiday and was open to the public during this time for visits.
Thanks - on the day I went (1st June), it was quite windy and so in the afternoon they stopped the public going on board (I think they were worried about people going across the gangway). I saw the Southend Pier webcam. In the beginning, it seemed to move to different positions. One of these positions showed the ship moored but it seems that they only have one fixed position now. Maybe they will restore the moving camera when ANDALUCIA departs.

Great vid and I'm sure looked more impressive being next to her 🙂👍 I did see a clip on twitter that Southend pier posted of her arrival.

Maybe can get a guest appearance if they make any more "Pirates of the Caribbean" 🙂
Yes - good idea!
Does she have a bluff bow and lovely lines is she's a fine seabird being weatherly, stiff and fast, no I thought not.
Hi I wondered if.you.could help me with footage of ships and the Thames. Serious request. Do you have an email address I can establish contact?
