      Hinduism says GOD pervades all over the universe in form of supreme soul. But he is given a form only to increase the devotion in mind to achieve PURITY OF SOUL.. You are free to worship HIM in any form you like. You can see HIM in nature(Love nurture and protect it in its original form). You can see HIM in your own self(treat everyone like you treat your own self). You can see him in service(with out expectations) one renders in any form. We also have different forms of devotion only to inculcate concentration and purity of mind and soul.
      This is not my opinion. It's the opinion of GOD himself in Bhagavat Gita (GOD's MESSAGE).
      If purity of soul CANNOT be achieved, whatever form you worship, whatever method of devotion you use is futile. So, what ever you do keep your soul in it.

    I think not allowing mobile phones inside the temple is also very mandatory. It's beyond heartbreaking and annoying to see people totally forgetting why and for what they come to the temples as they're just too focused on their phones or chatting and talking mindlessly on the phones. If that's what they want to do, there are better places to do that. Temples are meant for raising our consciousness and spiritual energy. All our 6 senses are satisfied at temples - Eyes : The indescribable beauty of the temple, idols and the deity , Ears : The traditional music - bells and drums, hymns of the Lord, Tongue : Singing the hymns of the Lord, prasadam 😅 , Skin : The whole atmosphere there - fresh air (trees, the stones and everything there play their part), Nose : Fragrances - Dhoopam, vibhuti,kumkum, chandanam, flowers and more , mind - the ultimate all these things have their effects altogether on the mind and help raise the consciousness. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 People not focusing on the temple's energy are missing out everything.

      The philosophy, sentiment, outlook... everything is Hindu! It’s fashionable to undermine Hindu roots of anything from Yoga to Ayurveda. People from religions are waking up to the fact that it makes sense and is applicable to everyone - but that does not imply that the source is Hindu. Sadhguru may have his reasons to call it an ‘Indian’ temple and not specifically a Hindu temple. But whatever is being spoken about is only and only about the Hindu way of life.

    A brahma gnaani- a person who has realised his self need not go to a temple. For others , temple is a must visit till the point when they realise this ultimate truth. This was said by Swami Vivekananda-It's a mistake if a 20 year old doesn't visit a temple and it's a mistake if a 60 year old does. By this he means, one must realize the ultimate truth (advaitham) by the time he is 60 years old ( spiritually mature). (Here the number shouldn't be taken literally)
    Summary: Visit a temple until you realise your self cuz it'll get you there someday.

    Any person who will know what hindu word is and where it came from then they will start considering as no religion person.
    That's why sadguru say bhartiy tample and not hindu tample because bharat never had religion, Britisher forced us to believe that we are separate so that they can turn us against each other.
    That's how they created hindu, sikh, bodh and jain as a religion and separate them where as we always considered all of us as one.
    Very unfortunate but true, because our previous government had no interest to preserve our heritage and culture.
    If they had made at least bhagvatgeeta compulsory with proper understanding then many of major problem like greed, corruption, cast, un civilizations, unrespectfull towards there culture, heritage and motherland, trees, rivers, animals and many more.
    How i know that much...
    Because once i was one of that idiot, still not good forget about perfect but at least trying to change my self as much as i can.
    now many things i even don't try to change but it is automatically changing positively as it was always there but was wating for right time.

    Sir, if there are no prayers done in temples what is the purpose of priests chanting various slokas in temples? Those slokas essentially contains prayers. This was practiced from ancient Vedic ages. @Sadguru

    • @niharika8288
      @niharika8288 3 года назад +1

      Chanting shlokas is not an equivalent of "Prayer" (in abrahamanic sense)
      Chanting invokes the energies of the Cosmos.. God is nothing but Energy and in Temples this energy is in the form of various deities.. Example in a Hanuman Temple the deity is a Brahmchari..Brahmacharya represent the element of "Fire" "Tapas" "Tapasya" so shlokas or aartis invoke these energies but for us it would be in the "Saguna brahma" form.. So it might appear a prayer in praise of the deity but the reason behind it is invoking those energies represented by the deity.
      God is in us..and everything is within him.. Eg 'Vishnu' sandhi is 'vishwa' + 'annu' God which resides in the smallest of atoms comprising the world.
      My explanation may be vague.. But this is my understanding of sadguru and various other luminaries which explain the science behind our temples and agamas.

    • @ReNewSelf
      @ReNewSelf 3 года назад +1

      @@niharika8288 I agree Niharika. But my feeling is that Prayer is also a means to connect our mind to the same Cosmic energy if done properly. As Bhagavad Gita says there are various ways to get Moksha, one of them is through the route of devotion or Bhakti which essentially involves prayer. As long as it is not done in a selfish or transactional way it should work is what I feel! 🙏

    I m big fan of Sadguru. With all due respect I would suggest, he shall demand transparency and accountability wrt Temples and funds accumulated through them instead of asking to handover to Temple-Heads or Devotees. As there is every chance of the funds being misused by them as well and you don't have any law to demand transparency and/or accountability. Thanks again. Namaskaram.

      No. Not God. Take the prana of the temple and go. Temples are energy centers, the older they are the more powerful they are. Sitting down with erect spine can help the prana to get in you somewhat. Charge yourself and go into the world. God is a limiting concept. Indian knowledge systems, if possible, avoid giving names to things that are beyond limits. Even naming a human limits them. Humans and every life is just pure energy body. Hence the advice commonly heard in India: don't have pet names for people and no multiple given names. One given name itself is limiting. Why give more. This is why a lot of Indian science uses metaphor and simile to describe phenomena.
      The Bhakti movement grew at a tangent to science and grew exponentially- the two twains meet only at moksha, hence all this confusion about temples and gods.
      Nothing wrong with bhakti either. It can get you to Moksha if you are designed for it and time is supportive. Or science will get you there if time is supportive. In any case your preparation and time must coincide and then you are free.

    @1:58 - In North India it is gone! Trust Sadhguru to bash North Indians at any given opportunity! Vigraha in the temple is the biggest source of energy and if you look at the vigraha, rather than sit down and shut your eyes, you will get more energy... And sitting down is good but there was no need to mention that in north India it is gone... Hinduism is not so technical as Sadhguru makes it to be - simplicity in worship is of utmost importance and then come the rituals & all the energy-centric practices ...
