Wow - yes! Rabbithole! I just saw this comment after finishing a piece of writing that began: “Last Saturday night I scuttled down an hours-long George Harrison rabbit hole.”
George is definitely one of the greatest musicians of all time, he is definitely one of the most good looking men in the world....but there's something more about his personality that makes him more attractive, more likable, more respectable...❤️
I'm angry w y'all, idc what u do w ur life but I'm the only who should determine anything about my life. I'm struggling n needy money to get get on w my life,ur helping keep me trapped without a vehicle, dog not here, this all feel s like abuse n the world is watching n involved in my torment, get my stuff toe today seriously
George signed us to his label personally in '75. Jiva was the name of the group and George was in the studio a lot with us, always bringing rock luminaries by to blow our minds!
Happy 75th birthday George. I miss you dearly and it's beyond my words to describe the influence you've had on me. I, too, have always been a dark horse in my group of friends and while I don't believe in god, I understand your devotion and what that meant to you. For a famous musician, you had no ego in comparison, but you had lots of modesty and you were always real. All interviews and comments I have read suggest you had your feet squarely on the ground. You knew there was more to life than fame and money and you found your place and seemed comfortable in it. I will always love what you represented and who you are. But most importantly, your music and your lyrics struck a chord from the early Beatles compositions right through to Brainwashed. You were serious, you were playful, you were provocative but at all times, you sang from your heart. The world has been robbed of almost 17 years of your musings and your music. Thanks for everything.
He’s been an immense comfort for me, this year has emotionally draining/really scary, and his solo work has been comforting me/his voice has soothed me to sleep, when I’ve been tossing and turning in tears, horrible nightmares. And he’s been helping me cope, and he’s taught me more than I’d never thought I’d ever learn, about spirituality, hurt and pain, and myself🤔 (Even if that might sound crazy on paper) If I COULD, I would thank him, I would Thank you, George, thank you for everything you’ve taught me❤️ (At least, that’s what WOULD happen in my own little mind)
It’s great to see and hear George Harrison again! He was always my favorite Beatle. I like them all of course, but he struck me as the the friendliest and down to earth. And I like that he was quiet most of the time but when he spoke he was thoughtful, charming and real. I miss him most. I wish there were more people like him in the world 🌎. Cool and unpretentious! He survived the madness of Beatlemania and he seemed quite content in this interview to not be in the spotlight all the time. In fact, he once said a good day for him was to not see his name in the paper. He realized how shallow and empty fame could be. Now contrast that to today’s fame seeking greedy selfish hordes of selfie shooters. All demanding and grabbing all the undeserved attention they can get. And none of them have any talent or anything wise to say about anything. Urrggh! The internet has made this fame hogging and attention grabbing culture possible, unfortunately. It’s one of the negatives that we have to deal with now. I wish the fame whores would go away but they don’t stop so I have to unplug constantly in order to ignore them. Thanks George for all the great music! RIP!
oh georgie he is so handsome and he has such beautiful brown eyes and that smile of his just melts my heart love and miss you sweet george Harrison rest in peace
Loved that Dark Horse Years dvd. Got it when it first came out. This was before RUclips. I played that dvd over & over. I miss George but in a way he's not really gone in a musical sense because his music is & always will live on & be played. Right now somewhere someone is listening & enjoying his great back catalog of music.
@@marjanp4784 , I was so jealous, when he married Pattie, it broke my heart. I forgave him and kept on loving him. I am 69 years old now and he was my first crush. It hasn’t changed in all this time. 😁
I had this DVD and I watched every day with my godfather (R.I.P.) George is our favorite Beatle and thanks to him I started to love The Beatles in 2009 when I was 9
Dark Horse is my favorite Harrison album. Certainly the voice was hoarse, the heart was heavy, and the whole thing had a suppressed punk vibe to it. A few years before Johnny Rotten was given a microphone. George was the true teacher in the band and the only one who gave the listener full value every time for the lp money shelled out.
Ohhh my this is my first ever comment down here about this wonderful being 💝 Every time I saw an interview of him I can't keep myself being amused by his extra ordinary speech and humor.. 'm such a BIG Fan ❣️...
The planet could do with more like George..modest, honest and real...that is inspiring looking at the degree of how famous George was. I could listen to one interview after another. Always saying something interesting, wise or funny. Will always love and admire you...
Oh! George your are gorgeous Way you slide the guitar, we really wonder what you are! You radiate more than a pulsar. You carved something deep, in the barks of our hearts, Coz your songs are too infectious. Oh George, you’re gorgeous. Oh George, you’re gorgeous. Great video, thank you very much! It gives such a joyful (and truthful) image of George, which luckily contrasts with the idea that many of his fans usually have of him.
I’m sad that George was so uncomfortable on stage in a lot of this video. He was so excellent in music videos and movies though. Miss you George and thanks for the great music.
The Beatles were like helpers or teachers as well as songwriter musicians and a rock Pop group to me. John helped me with my depressions ,anxiety, and sometimes anger issues, George helped me with all those spiritual life after death and why am I here questions , Paul helped me with my self confidence and positive mindset, and Ringo was like the favorite Uncle you could always hang with and talk to if you needed comforting or needed a dam hug or a joke. I know this sounds ridiculous....but I'm 40 now and I've been a Beatles fan since I first heard the Songs..."I Should Have Known Better" and " Revolution" on the oldies station when I was 10 years old. 😆 Oh yes and I loved their music as well 😉
You did you and you are a great artist. God can be found in the Bible and in his creation. You can be found in your humor and in your incredible music. Thank you for sharing your talents with me all these years.

Going down a George Harrison rabbit hole always feeds my soul and puts a smile on my face.
After watching Get back I was missing his company so yea, same!
100 for sure on that. Cheeky lad

Agreed, always make me smile, especially when he slips in a little dig at another Fab's expense, whether in his chat or lyrics... Wah Wah indeed :)
Cloud 9 was fantastic. Very underrated. What a beautiful album and beautiful person

It seems George never spoke unless what he had to say was of some value. Really interesting guy to listen to.
+Cathkinghost 2015

+Uppah Yoursy Go right to the source, and ask the horse. The Dark horse!
That's true, and like John, he didn't like false and phony people.
