Happy 75th birthday George. I miss you dearly and it's beyond my words to describe the influence you've had on me. I, too, have always been a dark horse in my group of friends and while I don't believe in god, I understand your devotion and what that meant to you. For a famous musician, you had no ego in comparison, but you had lots of modesty and you were always real. All interviews and comments I have read suggest you had your feet squarely on the ground. You knew there was more to life than fame and money and you found your place and seemed comfortable in it. I will always love what you represented and who you are. But most importantly, your music and your lyrics struck a chord from the early Beatles compositions right through to Brainwashed. You were serious, you were playful, you were provocative but at all times, you sang from your heart. The world has been robbed of almost 17 years of your musings and your music. Thanks for everything.
George signed us to his label personally in '75. Jiva was the name of the group and George was in the studio a lot with us, always bringing rock luminaries by to blow our minds!
George is definitely one of the greatest musicians of all time, he is definitely one of the most good looking men in the world....but there's something more about his personality that makes him more attractive, more likable, more respectable...❤️
Going down a George Harrison rabbit hole always feeds my soul and puts a smile on my face.
It seems George never spoke unless what he had to say was of some value. Really interesting guy to listen to.
The song Dark Horse is incredibly underrated.
The real George ....is a green thumb gardener..
I'm so psyched that George used the image of the Indian 7-headed horse God. Not a well-known image but he's that type of genius.
