@Serenity Sue It's a pity the cathedral was closed as it contains the tomb of Bishop Richard Ledrede. Many years ago on a visit to Kilkenny I was told when he was arrested Ledrede was held in the fortified Augustinian Priory of Kells not far from Kilkenny city. Upon his release he refused to leave until he was accorded fill pomp and ceremony and a detachment of soldiers as befitted his high station. From personal experience the priory is well worth a visit. Much of the buildings are ruinous but the majestic fortified walls and towers which enclose a huge area of 3 acres still stand.

That was a really cool story of the with and heard the EVP creepy 😳 loved the church and graveyard with the tower , I think it was a horrible end for her . but maybe Karma for how she treated her servants and perhaps even for the husbands 🤔 loved this mysterious spooky story xx apologies for missing the premier been a very busy weekend

The pub is absolutely amazing!! What history, wow, if those walls could talk. When we hear 'witches' we think of the Salem witches of the 1690's, but Alice and this story go hundreds of years before this. Curious how she never married poor husbands. Alice was more serial killer than a witch, but just as evil. Poor Petronella paid dearly for Alice's dark deeds. We visited Kilkenny on our tour in 2018. Beautiful area! Thanks again Sue. 😊👍

I really enjoyed this story and enjoyed seeing Kilkenny Castle. The castle is very pretty even though like most castles do have a dark history. The grounds were very nice and I also enjoyed the pub with the interesting relics in there. I see they have a gift shop there also I was wondering what they were selling. I've visited the cathedral it's on my channel, I even climbed up into the tower, that was scary
