If you're not smiling ear to ear by the end of this, you're dead. Or in serious need of a shoulder to cry upon (which is okay when necessary.)

I was just letting autoplay do it's thing in the background off some fiddle tunes and this came on... Holy shit! This is great!

I've recently begun writing a story in which three of the characters fiddle. This is, needless to say, one of the songs they end up playing. Huge turning point for the main character!
Edit: I should also mention, they're in a band with a cellist and guitarist.

I grieve the fact that I am a 6' dude with small hands. Holding my left hand in extended position is almost impossible for me and then there are people like Natalie Haas and probably this dude that can easily stretch double extensions in first position. FML

Who is that on cello and how does he keep it round his neck, surely it’s not just resting on the tuning pegs?

That's Mike Block. He has a block cello strap on www.cellostrap.com

That's Mike Block, Hanneke's husband. He's an amazing cellist and has toured with Yo Yo Ma. That's a microphone secured to the bottom front of the cello. As far as how he's holding it up, if you look closely, you'll see the cello has a strap that runs from his left shoulder to the side of his right leg.
