Brittany should get s medal for being the purveyor of Americana music. A special musician!
Brittany honestly has a sixth sense when performing. She is truly one of the best!
Beautiful playing.
All I can say is they are a bunch of great musicians
This never gets old.
Obrigado, mto obrigado desde Florianólis (Brasil).
Love how Brittany lights into 'Duck River'. Soooo fine !!
Perfect
I have just of late discovered Brittany Haas and her circle of supremely talented friends. I am spreading the word to all my musical friends. Beautiful, beautiful stuff, y'all !!!
I'm back again for more. This music deserves repeated listening. These guys are so technically advanced, yet they play with so much heart and soul! Joe is right on with his mandolin playing, and Natalie lays down a veritable wall of sound for them to roll on. It's great!!!
Violinist can swing! Great rhythm feel.
Have been most fortunate to have had both Joe and Brittany as tutors at Sorefingers Summer Schools. Joe taught us to play Dry & Dusty in his mando class.
Pretty good bass recording of the cello!
Nice.
Great music, I love it
Well done ! Thank you for sharing.
I met Brittany when she came to England and gave s fiddle workshop in Sheffield . . she's fantasic !
I caught her at the New harmony music festival and school and took classes, it was no doubt a great experience.
The Cello Goblin has a contender!
As a Morrison related to Abbie and Apsie, I have made a side hobby of listening to every version of Dry and Dusty I can find and your version is definitely one of the best! Thanks
Cool, thanks!! I love this tune so much, very grateful to them for recording it.
That was GREAT. Thanks for posting
high quality stuff....
Yes !
Great stuff.
please forgive me if i pick it all day long !
I was expecting Fever Ray!
I was searching for the lyrics then figured I needed to check this video out.
My My My, mighty fine! Great by all three, although the cello is mixed way too loud, drowning out the others, maybe she is plugged in or wireless and not aware how loud it is in the mix?
The mix is in the hands of the soundman at the console.
Unfortunately, yes.
Lower cello tones are resonating louder, higher strings are perfect. Enjoy it, because otherwise you wouldn't hear the complete range and what's going on with the lower chords.
It's just so beautiful, easier to add more complex phrasing and to maneuver than the double bass which by the way is more invasive. Welcome back cello in folk music!
I agree with you!!
