Anyone looking for it, look online. Almost every single new fragrance is easier to find online because stores are usually slower on getting new fragrances in. With the exception of store exclusives of course.

My 21 yo daughter loves the original! Profumo lasts all day on my skin! Sprayed it at 415am and at 230 pm, coworkers could still smell it very strong! Profondo has the same performance! Excited to try this! 👊🏼

After 2009 Armani reformulated the original ADG - now the original ADG a low toalett spray - very very bad and weak.
10/3 - Profumo 10/5 - Original ADG before 2009 is 10/100!

To me the new parfum smells like a stronger version of the dry down of the OG, which is what most people loved about the OG. So they should love this one. The opening is a lot more aquatic to my nose like profondo but drys down more like the OG but stronger. I don't get too much EDP in the parfum.
Acqua Di Gio has been flanked so many times, you can take just one of the fragrance pour it in three different bottles and probably get three different smells.
And how is the performance? Does it last long or not ?
I got mine even before the release date on the store and it’s amazing. Fun fact: after smelling all Gio Di Aqua colognes available I had decided to buy Profumo, but I was dizzy from all the smells and ended buying by accident the Parfum. It was not yet to be sold in stores but since they new me well… anyhow, it’s amazing. I love the parfum 😊

Bought a bottle of Parfum a month ago .
I own two 2016 batch Profumos . Honestly Parfum is incredible .
Dont try and find profumo since 2018-2022 batches ar less powerful than pre 2017 versions .
So Parfum is , in my humble opinion , better than newer profumo (2018-present )
But the best is pre 2017 profumo

This is the third review I've seen of this fragrance, and each reviewer has said something totally different. One said that it's basically a reformulated version of ADG EDP that was released last year. Another said that it's basically a reformulated version of ADG Profumo.
Yeah right, feom exact copy to nothing alike. Like wtf?
Every nose is different and every nose picks up scents differently. Some drastically different.
As for Acqua di Gio Parfum, I think there are similarities to previous releases for sure but there are definitely differences.

@@rajivsewnandan4865 Both work in a fantastic way. Profondo is just this perfect classy fresh scent that's incredibly versatile. I would go with Profondo if I wanted a freshness that feels a bit fuller and richer. The new parfum is ligher and smoother.
It's a toss up, but I think I would go with the new parfum and overspray it if it's outdoors 😁
Just received mine and it's an absolute beast. I own all of the ADG's and this is much fresher than Profumo and I guess a lot more people will like it when smell it on you even tho to your own nose it might smell "boring". I was always stuck between Profondo and Profumo and imo this is the best so far.

@@rottenrebels I own over 100 fragrances and it's so hard to rank because it depends on when you want to wear it. I would say it's a 9/10 for the summer.
Is it doing a great job on a hot summer day around 25 up to 30 degrees or is the EDP a better choice instead?

This is 9.5 for me. Year round, classy af. Bottle and sprayer get top marks. More versatile than Profumo so it’s even better. Signature scent worthy along with dior homme 2020 for classy gents

I got it two weeks ago in Edinburgh airport before leaving. The dry down is fantastic for sure and good replacement for Profumo with subtle differences

What is the performance, Is it a summer or a winter fragrance ?
Projection ?
Wear it whenever you want a fresh kind of scent, but seasons with this is definitely more spring and summer. 😊 I have not worn it enough to test it's performance but initial impression is moderate projection with a longevity that's quite good.
this (at least on me) is not a strong kind of scent.

I was watching a video from yesterday and the fellow said it was VERY similar to Profumo and was hard to distinguish the two. He said it also had the smokiness, but you said it was absent.

How’s the longevity and projection? I have a decant of ADG Parfum. My performance on my skin is about 5hrs and 2hrs projection not sure if the decant bottle affected the performance on me :/
I would rate AdG parfum's longevity and projection somewhere around 6 out of 10. Not strong, not weak.
I often spray a bit more with it to make it pop more, and it gets noticed within an arms length or so (for a couple of hours) when sprayed properly - but it's simply not a beast mode kind of fragrance.
I saw your comment on fragrantica so I ended up here. Very good review man! One question tho, is it better than profondo? I mean I really dislike the marine over aquatic smell in profondo. I understand that with this one the incence smell is toned down making the aquatic smell more pronounced? Kindly enlighten me on this. Thanks again for a great review man!!!

@@rottenrebels good morning from sunny and wintery Southern Africa. I haven't worn it much at all but thus far I'd rate at as a 7/10. Nothing mind blowing but it is decent, woody and pleasant to smell. I liked it when I smelled it initially especially the benzoin note and incense.

It finally came to my country and I wanted to update here
At the beginning it felt exactly like profumo but after a few days of wearing it, it feels like a more realistic version of the sea, it's more minerlic kind of smell, it's fresher but still u can smell the warm spices, it's balenced well

@Rotten Rebel 9.5 profumo is the only acqua di gio that could even be worn in the colder weather, Profundo smells like shampoo and it was strictly a summer spring scent IMO.

Hi! If you really don't like the edp, then I would not suggest blind buying this. Try it first. They are not the same but there are some similarities.

No idea about release dates across the world. It's available in Europe though.
Always check online first as online stores are usually the ones who get the newest fragrances first.
How much sprays would you recommend?
I usually go with anywhere from 8-12 or so with the acqua di gios. This feels a bit like the edp when it comes to it’s projection so I go higher when I want a more noticeable scent cloud and slightly less than 8 when I want a more intimate scent. Always try and see what works for you 😊

Hi! Absolu is a fantastic freshie with a twist. This is not like that. Absolu being like a freshie with a bit of depth with it's fruity sweetness and it's slightly warm woodiness and the new Parfum being lighter, less complex, definitely without that fruitiness and sweetness, etc. Different takes on freshness and that Acqua di gio scent.
Both are 👌
Take barbasol shaving cream, modernize it and add a slight acquatic touch and you have the new Parfum 🌊🪒🤙🏾

I think any guy will smell good with this. If you enjoy scents like Acqua di gio EDP, profumo, etc then there's a chance you will like this aswell. As for usage, anytime you want a fresh scent on you, but it's definitely perfect for spring and summer due to it's smooth freshness 😊
Literally just saw a post on armanis website that Profumo is officially discontinued. I have a 125ml mostly full and a 75ml back up lol. I heard a lot of people say it opens very close to Profumo and dries down vibes of the edp. O well if I do run out of Profumo I’ll prob reach for the parfum to take its place as the the edp was too “gentlemanly” for me with something a touch unpleasant

How does it perform
Just based on my initial wearing: good longevity, medium or so projection.
Not beast mode or strong.
Need to wear it more to get a proper feel for the performance though.

I hope profumo does not get discontinued and is still fantastic and amazing, even though the new parfum is great. I think it is all the same scents that only change, like one or two scents.
Profumo has been rumoured to have been discontinued for quite some time and I see less and less of it available so my guess is that they are phasing it out. Fab scent though!
@@rottenrebels Profumo is most certainly being discontinued. I don't think they'll keep both it and the new Parfum in the line. Besides, Profumo means Parfum in Italian.

It’s smell like ADP but it’s not the Same fragrance the longevity&sillage is weaker than ADP for my nose it’s little bit more wearable in the high summer days

So subjective. But to me, part of profumo's unique is it's sort of 'smokiness' and that scent is not in here (at least I don't pick up on it). so if you love that then Profumo is the way to go. If you want a more smooth aquatic and aromatic kind of freshness then I think this is the one.
Like always, try before buy and go with the one you enjoy the most.

How does it stand vs Terre D'Hermes Eau Givree and PDM Sedley?
I have not thought of the comparison but I think I would take Sedley over this. And the Hermes. Something in Sedley just makes me smile.
This feels more classy and smooth though. Both are beautiful scents. 👌
@@rottenrebels all come back to the PDM. Bought around 25 fragrances this year and none of them stand up to the quality found in the PDMs. Even simple fragrance like Sedley stands out. I’m probably end up buying all the line.
What Parfums de Marly have mastered is how to create scents that have something intoxicating/addictive about them. A lot of their fragrances are well blended and smell fantastic + have that special something about them that just makes people addicted.
A lot of other brands know how to create GREAT scents. But far from all are scents have that intoxicating or addictive thing going on.
@@rottenrebels Indeed. For Spring & Summer i got Percival but eyeing that Sedley and Greenly as well. The more I smell the samples the more convinced I also want to get them. They are so good. Percival is crazy the trail scent that it leave in the air. Now to bring back to video topic... I'm pretty happy with the ADG Profondo as well.

I just got my 15th backup of Profumo as it seems its goi g away and I have to have this frag until the end of my life. Im not that old so it has to last me the next 40 years at least.

@@rottenrebels Lets just say that for me, there is profumo, and then every other fragrance on the planet. Some are clise to it but this is no 1 and has been since it was released. I have all batches, all years, multiple bottles, 180ml and 125ml only. I have the 1st batch when it was released still sealed. A lot of them are still sealed and kept cool and in dark. It is my sig, ppl know my by it. I like Profondo but its only a like. Every other adg is a no for me. Not including essenza which was a masterpiece also but I didnt get that obe in time so I dont have even one bottle. I do have Silverlake which is very hard to come by in eu. I got mine from CA.
