The looper is functional, it wouldn't do anything like those pedals by itself. However, you can do pretty much anything with delay, reverse and other modules. It is certainly possible to create something that is as interesting and more flexible as those pedals. There is a patch storage site where people have saved patches just like that. I definitely want to delve into that more.
