Bruh, when I tell you I started hanging out in Christopher Street in NYC everyday of the week, started meeting people, then clubbing from Wednesday till Sunday. I finally became part of The House of Infiniti snatched a couple of trophies in NYC and Philly. In person you just feel that energy that will make you want to be part of the ballroom culture.
Voguing is such a spectacular cultural development. The fierceness, the unity, the fun, the comedy, the competitiveness, the skills!!!! etc. it’s all such an amazing mix

He looked like he was doing some kind of robot dance or having a seizure. I’ve only seen one Queen of color here where I currently reside. I’ve been to countless shows here and they were a drag lol. No rhythm or personalities. I was spoiled in College as some friends took me to an event called Talent Takeover every Thursday. I actually let my daughter participate in a show my stud-dents were hosting. She did so good especially to never have seen one. Gosh I’ve mentored too many suicidal students to not believe the love, emotions are real. Taught my daughter to do no more or less than to love period.

I live a good ball! My first one was in 1999. Been to them here in Chicago, NY., and Atlanta. Atlanta was the best because it lasted for hours and they had a catagory for damn near everything. I almost thought they were going to have a category for me (Realness Queen realness) LOL
