It’s been kind of trauma, my mom seeing me in tears joined me in detailed report search. It came out it was ematocrito 52% and while to me it was kind of “?” She started saying “I believe there’s something behind, and started explaining me that it’s no doping, everyone has it in their blood, though in extreme conditions or efforts it tend to raise its levels… trying to give me a sweet pill she said me that “if you care first for Health&safety it’s reasonable”… my questions began to flow as the titles and videos till she turned off tv shouting they intended to kill an athlete crucifying him. At certain points I was feeling myself way less worried than her (she’s a doctor). He was portraited worse than an assassin believe me. It took a week or so for her to show me the bigger picture. Say whatever you want, I don’t care for the the ones who call him doped, they’re the media forged ones. And though we miss you nowadays Marco, and would love to have you here, immortal are the emotions and the memories you gifted us. Many will never know you were hit by cars twice before becoming legend. An inspiration for everyone living through hard times. Lo stile di Pantani era perfetto, sempre in piedi sui pedali, mani basse sul manubrio, non girava mai la testa, per guardare l'avversario, continui cambi di accelerazioni che, in pochi metri ti frantumava le gambe e inesorabilmente tutti quelli che provavano a seguirlo, piano piano perdevano la sua ruota e infine la solita immagine di Marco solo al comando, che stacca tutti e vince in solitaria. Il più forte scalatore dell'era moderna. Contador grande campione ma, sui pedali non aveva la grazia di Marco, quando scattava sui pedali era scoordinato, ondeggiava a destra e sinistra.
