I tried the adapter on Canon r body first. I think only focusing within 5m will be available because the Flange Distanceis about 2mm short.😂 If possible, i will cut the mounting plate of the lens.🧐 And I'm faced with a new problem. I also have a Canon eos m2. The m2 can't be photographed without a chip. Is there a solution?😢
I do not understand quite...you have a canon R and want to use C-mount lenses on it? and the second part "And I'm faced with a new problem. I also have a Canon eos m2. The m2 can't be photographed without a chip. Is there a solution?😢" the "m2 can't be photographed without a chip" what that means??? I think there's a language barrier here can you explain a little bit more simpler but detailed what are your specific problems :-) if i understand i will try to guide you to solution!😉
@@BudgetCineMagic Oh, I'm sorry.😅 I modified the adapter to mount the corresponding lens on Canon EOS R7, but the flange distance was incompatible. I'm also using the Canon EOS M2, but I encountered a major issue: the adapter ring doesn't have a confirmation chip, so I can't take pictures.
@@PhotoKnightKim for rf mount you can udse this kin of adapter kipon.de/shop/adapter/mechanische-adapter/c-mount-eos-r/ and if nee make it thiner but normally would work and secondly if in the canon eosm2 in the settinggs you overoll te fact to aloud use or release shutter withouth card or lens. Hope this helps...
After modifying the adapter ring from C mount to Efm mount yes infinite focus is working fine. Here's the videos where you can see how and what modification I had to make on the adapter ring ruclips.net/video/SPHa1DX8iUs/видео.html , ruclips.net/video/9xoXAUma0dI/видео.html

Is infinity focus okay too? I got a lot of information in your video. Thank you.
