This comment is specifically for AIM's remark over Diwali and to through some light on this topic
Diwali is celebrated for 3 to 5 days (depending on which part of India it is) starting from 14th day of Krishna Paksha (a day before No-Moon day) of Ashvija (7th) month, which is based on calendar dependent on Moon's movement.
Hindu calendar system has multiple methods (at least 5 as per my knowledge) of calculating a year. Among this Sun and Moon movement based calendars are two major types.
In Moon based calendar system there are 355 days(approx.) in a year where as in Sun based calendar system(which is also a Gregorian system of calendar followed internationally) there are 365 days(approx.) in year. So there is a difference of 10 days in a year among the two system of calendars. Due to this the festival Diwali is shifting approximately 10 days back by every year. This applies to most of Hindu festivals.
To compensate this shift in Moon calendar system, for every third year when the difference becomes 30 days an extra month is added (similar to Feb 29 in leap year) in a year and this would align both calendars.
As a result Diwali date in Gregorian calendar varies between 3rd week of October to 2nd week of November
Point of interest: In Islam also Moon based Calendar is followed but here there is no concept of adding an extra month in the year hence in case of Ramadan and other festivals it keeps on shifting back from one year to another w.r.t. to Gregorian Calendar.
So we can observe these festivals falling in summer in some year will shift to winter or rainy season months after few years and so on, it is cyclic.

My dad’s has keen scientific interest in Astrology. He is a retired Civil Servant and within our circle and his circles he is the Astrologer to go. He never practiced it as a profession or took even a penny because his interest is scientific. You know what he has done in the last 40 years? He never talks about any person’s future. According to him, Astrology is cyclical so if today planets have this position which should determine these outcomes, then they have happened in the past as well if you old enough. So if someone comes to him and asks, how is this year for me? He will say, this exact planetary position was there these many years ago and in that year “did this happen to you”. And if the person agreed that “this” happened, he says you have your answer. And he has been 90% correct in his predictions of the past of a person, the other 10% of the times, people just lied to him out of embarrassment (not an assumption, they later came out clean that they said no to something because it was too personal to disclose to a somewhat of a stranger).

It is so surprising that you think Indian calendar is variable and cite date of Diwali as an evidence. Diwali always falls on Amavaysa of Kartik month. And Indian calendar is based on Moon, not Sun. And the months are based on moon phases. Very disappointing.
Vedic astrology is not primarily about calendars,that is about Gocharam concept which is not 'Jyotisha' about,its about Janma Kundali which is a person's birth chart which needs accurate time of birth,And it is accurate because it is part of Vedas and I have seen ir myself

Ok so about the calendars.... Gregorian or western calendars are a little illogical in terms of allocating days. There is no logic between having 30 days in 1 month and 31 in the other and randomly assigning 28 days to Feb just to fit the number of 365 days of the year. The Indian calendar or the Vikram samvat is months defined as days between between full moons in the north and no moons in south, thus making the definition of a month quite logically convincing. So thinking on this we now have extra days left at the end cz 1 revolution is still 365 days. So an extra month is added which is literally called the adhik Maas (extended month). This might increase the complexity in general but is quite accurate and precise.
At the end what I don't get is how the hell is this related to astrology? It is related to astronomy at best....

I have seen quite a lot of videos of Hispanics and black community being so racist but they feel they are funny.

What I failed to understand is his racist way of talking which he thought was funny even though historically there are least amount of contact between Indian and Hispanic communities and there is also no past history of conflict. I don't want to generalize but I mainly found such bad behavior in the religious, Church going conservative class. I felt the hate was coming from; Indian communities taking over America mindset plus being the richest in per capita of all communities. I don't know about Blacks but I personally felt those from Africa are more understanding and easy to have conversation with than those from African American community. There is always an exception. You will find some awesome African American and Hispanics too.

I found out that it is derogatory word against Indians. Very popular on dark online forums but also used in well known sites like Twitter, RUclips etc. I used the hyphen cause, one can no longer post the word directly on RUclips. It will get caught by algorithm as hate speech.
