- Welcome back to our channel! We took a trip to Puerto Rico, staying on both sides of the island throughout this trip. We wanted to explore more than just the popular San Juan area and we are so happy we did. Puerto Rico truly has so much to offer.
The first two nights we stayed in Aguadilla which is located on the west side of the island. We spent the majority of our time in Rincon which was a 10-15min drive from our air bnb. We absolutely loved Rincon and would most likely stay there next time we make it to PR.

From Aguadilla, we drove to the other side of the island, stopping in Old San Juan for the day, and then ended in Fajardo on the east side of the island. If you plan to take a day trip to Culebra, Vieques or Icacos Island, this spot is right next to the marina where most boats take off from, so that was very convenient. The best beaches and restaurants/bars were located in Luquillo though. About 10-15min from Fajardo. We would recommend staying there if that is what you're looking for. Our airbnb did have the most stunning view. LINK BELOW:

We took a catamaran day trip to Culebra island. We used Tobias Culebra and they are located in Fajardo. The staff were great, awesome lunch provided and drinks flowing all day. They took us snorkeling, and they we went to Flamenco Beach to relax and enjoy the perfect scenery.

I have had the pleasure of going to PR twice. I even married a beautiful lady from the island. We plan to go back soon. It was an experience and adventure to say the least. Loved the island, but mostly love my wife 😊.

Just went to Puerto Rico in May. Stayed in Rincón area . Your video made me smile. I felt instantly transported back there. I love Puerto Rico

Well for first time visitors, most people would probably suggest staying in Old San Juan as there is so much to see and do (and eat!). It's also the most touristy. It's also close to Isla Verde which offered nice beaches to relax on. Because we had already been before and stayed in Old San Juan, we wanted to venture out. We LOVED Rincon. Awesome little surfer town with a really cool cultural vibe. Beach was beautiful, but the water has much bigger waves on this side of the island (probably why it's so popular with the surfers). No matter where you decide to go, you'll have a great time. PR is a true gem. I hope this was helpful and that yall have a blast!

Was it cold in February how was the ocean temps?
@@shayboo220 no it wasn’t cold at all in February! It was beautiful! At the beach the water was cool, not cold. Comfortable to swim for sure. We did go snorkeling further out in the ocean and it was chilly getting in, but we warmed up quick after swimming for a bit.
I’m sure dealing with spirt wasn’t fun
Never again. We wrote them off completely after this trip.

Puerto Rico's a beautiful place, sadly it has become very dangerous place. Lots of crime, homeless people, very unsafe. Government is so corrupt that it has been slowly destroying the island. Cherry on top, Puerto Rico has a lot of lazy people not willing to fight for their rights, you mix all that and well... it is very sad.
