what is DBC could you make it a bit elaborate, as i kinda grappling with the numerous data dump that i have collected for a \honda 1.5l ivtec engine

dbc is "database configuration" file. It has all the details of all the CAN messages from the vehicle ECU (like signal names, lengths, start bits, periodicity etc). DBC is usually proprietary to the vehicle manufacturer
