The station opened on February 26, 1970 (the line 9 platforms opened on February 24, 1986).

2:15 The ceramic mural that decorated the vestibule accessing Line 9 from the Plaza del Marqués de Salamanca was made in the Tall Building in 1983. Represents a city designed to have a bridge that occupies the center of the image and it is appreciated buildings, green areas and various means of transport, among them a train and a barco. The station is named after one of the first Conquistadores of Panama. And the one that first discovered the Pacific Ocean crossing the narrow Panama isthmus. 11:00 travelator fun? :)

Gutes Video! Aber bei 16:54 habe ich mich gefragt, ob das ein Mann oder eine Frau ist oder eine Person, die sich durch plastische Chirurgie in ein anderes Geschlecht verwandelt hat! Vielleicht ist es wieder eine Verwirrung für mich.
