      @@MrKeysjimmy so lower seeds mean nothing and only the higher seeds do? If any lower seeded team can be picked by the top seed and have to play them, what's the point of lower seeds struggling for positioning?

      @@jacobarmstrong9994well the point is for them to make the playoffs lol (obviously). I’m not totally sold on this concept but it intrigues me. I’m all for any changes that motivates teams to actually play and not throw in the towel. And if you’re so concerned about Sac being treated unfairly, how about the 1 seed who worked so hard to get it but has to play one of the best teams in the conference first round? The whole point of getting the 1 seed is getting the worst team first round, but injuries cause it to sometimes not work out that way. I’m not super against leveling things out a bit.

  • @MrKeysjimmy

    The more i think about it, the more I like this idea. So I would have 1,2,3 get to pick from 8,7,6,5. 4th gets remaining team.
    That means people would really fight for 1,2,3 and at the least fight for 4th to play a lower rank team. So top 4 get some sort of varying advantage.
    Your 5th,6th,4th fighting to move into 4th for advantage.
    Your 8,7,6,5 are fighting to get out of play in.
    Your 12-10 fighting for play in.

    • @MrKeysjimmy
      @MrKeysjimmy Месяц назад

      @jonnyharding3646 so I would have 4th seed not have the advantage of 1,2,3 by getting to choose. But their advantage for being 4th is they get to play the remaining lower seed. So 1,2,3 pick from 8,7,6,5. 4th plays the remaining team.

  • @rbsteve9191
    @rbsteve9191 Месяц назад

    The higher seeds already get they advantage of having home court. We don’t need to let them pick the weakest opponent to play as well. This take is such a bad idea. The reason that Boston might have to play the 76ers is not because of tanking. It’s because of something that happened naturally which happens to be injury. It’s part of the game. The ideas of making it easier for better teams and for players that can’t get over the hump like Tatum or harden. Or the take I heard from cowherd the other day was to shorten the series so the older teams ( lakers, suns, golden state) would have a better chance at making it further in the playoffs is such a joke. Let’s make the competition easier or give an easier path. Such a joke.
