Porzingis is straight up barbecue chicken. Jokic shoots mid range jumpers on nurk because he can’t always back him down in the post but with porzingis he’s not even thinking about shooting a jumper straight up body

Since the beginning of 21'-22' season, Jokic had a triple-double in one third of games he played.
And then, how many games were there in which he had a double double with 9 assists or 9 rebounds. Joker is something else. Those stats are just a byproduct of his game . Love the guy

To be the best, you have to beat the best. Denver's the defending champions, and Jokic is the best player in the NBA! The road to the NBA championship goes through Denver. Boston is chasing them.

I would always make fun of AG and say he owes Jokic most of his contract. Just like how Jokic further unlocked Bruce Brown and made Will Barton actually look like a starter. But man is Aaron Gordon really starring in his role 🤩
AG is also a tenacious defender. Loves playing defense, he's said its not even a job for him, even prefers it over having to carry offensive load like he did in Orlando. Loves that he can focus on D and let Joker run the offense. And athletic defensive specialists can make a good career well into their late 30s in the NBA. I don't know that AG is going anywhere else as long as Joker is healthy and active.

@@focuz4899 Sure, you can check those stats yourself! They are available for free! The 4 points in Chicago game and the 9 points in Detroit game were the 2 games Jokic got booted from by refs. He probably posted better stats than most players on the court in the 15 minutes he played anyway.

denver is built so well all around with size and speed. hustles a lot too. fun team to watch.
I'm a Celtics fan and this games proves that Celtics should not be considered the title favorite and that Tatum is one more playoff flameout from having his superstar status revoked. He's got superstar stats without superstar impact. He shoots like 30% from the field in clutch time on high volume. You're not an MVP candidate if you're the 5th or 6th most reliable clutch player on your team.

They really took a game where the Nuggets won 3/4 of the quarters, where the best 3 point team in the league went 11/28 from 3, where the obvious MVP had a 32 point triple double, while the #5 contender could barely be effective vs the bench, and presented a narrative about how dominant the Celtics are. Denver is a nightmare matchup for the Celtics. Gordon just having a blast out there getting whatever he wanted in that dunkers spot. Porzingis too skinny for Jokic.
Porzingis too skinny for Murray and KCP and Braun too. Both home and away, Porzingis tried to back down smaller defenders and failed. Nuggets coaches dare him to be a post player all the time, they put Joker on Hortford, and AG/MPJ are taking Tatum and Brown. Porzingis ends up with mismatches all the time both games and can't deliver. Last night I saw him barely mange to hit an uncomfortable looking hook over Reggie Jackson, denver's smallest player. I'd take that all night long because half will rim out, and 50% from the paint ain't good enough if the other team has Joker/AG getting 68% from the paint.

until someone finds an answer for the joker, or embiid makes the finals. the nuggets are not losing in the playoffs. joker is unstoppable and you can’t double bc of the passing and the shooters which gets everyone else going. they now have experience and they have the best execution in the 4th quarter. but there is no one besides embiid who even has an answer for the joker at this point.
