As a lifelong Nuggets fan, I love Murray. He's definitely a hot and cold player but when he's on, everybody should just get out of his way. You're not gonna stop him anyway.
Jamal Murray is becoming OVERRATED and I love Jamal. He had a terrible series overall vs the Lakers and he gets all the shine. His terrible shooting (22 pts on 38%fg with a high usage) is the reason why the series was close in the first place. Had he shot decently the Lakers would be blown out by the third quarter. He played well in just a quarter and two minutes of the entire series. 2. Jamal Murray doesn't get covered and guarded like elite point guards like Fox, Brunson, Haliburton, Kyrie, Steph. Last year in the playoffs the Lakers double and triple teamed Jokic and allowed Jamal to play freely vs Reaves and DLo (two bad defenders). That's why he scored 32. I believe he should be respected but not overrated and compared to NBA legends.
