In Part 1 of this thrift with me video, we're shopping at two of our favourite thrift stores in today's video - WINS and Goodwill!. In this thrifting video, I'll take you through the thrift store shelves and show you what vintage home decor I took home and what pieces got left behind. I found lots of cool vintage pieces including some vintage mugs, copper and brass items, and more. It's always a surprise what you end up finding when you're out thrifting for vintage and every thrift trip is a new adventure!! I ended up with a very eclectic haul with lots of other retro and curious items! Hope you enjoy this thrifting video and thrifted finds!

I actually Nike hearing your thoughts as your going through the stores. We have a lot of the same tastes. I love hand painted vintage Bowels and small dishes, I know they don’t sell very well, but I am so drawn to them.
Same - I wish that the pottery pieces sold better. Or at least for me they are slow. I would pick up every piece of pottery I could find. Thanks for the comment and I’m going to keep up the commentary inside the store as much as possible as it seems people really prefer that

My Gosh Love them stores ...I shoped tiill I dropped there too ...but didn't get to go to goodwill yet ..I will be going back to visit my beautiful children in Calgary ..this fall ...totally amazed ❤❤🌹🌹

Thanks Jessica! I liked the result too however the music playing in the thrift store created some copyright issues for me and I had to spend a lot of extra time trying to work around it. Hopefully I’ll get it dialed in more!

Just found you - subscribed cause I like your style! I like the voice-over hearing your thoughts, but it would be better if you muted the 'on site' volume while you did it as it tends to clash. There were also some woozy camera moments 🙏 Also at 12:00 when you're looking at the lamp, the black postmodern lamp next to it is Robert Sommerman, they can sell for really good money.

You passed over so many items I would have bought....like every single cat in that cart! Your goodwill is incredible. Ours, 50 miles away, is nearly all clothing, and very picked over. Would almost never pass up on an item due to" smell test". Nearly everything can be cleaned!!
Awe too bad you don’t have one closer by. We’re very fortunate here to have so so many stores all within a 45 minute drive. I didn’t elaborate on the smell test but what I am smelling for is cigarette smoke. Every other smell I agree I can get it out, but smoke is the one deal breaker for me

Yes they absolutely can be! Sometimes I shake my head but just means you can’t take as many things home
Audio while shopping. That way we know why or why not you pick things up.

Totally! I keep my stuff in a Fanny style pack around me all times - the cat bag is just where I keep the bags. But you’re totally right especially in a thrift store environment
