I told the girl that she should show him respect, because it's good to grow up with strong friends who 'have your back'. The next time I saw him he was standing his ground and having lots of that good old 'rough & tumble' fun with a group of other young lads. It made my day! I admire masculinity :o)

My worst years...10 and 11 grade. The only person in the world I can say I hate is a girl in those years of my life. She has now been divorced twice. Changed religions 3 times. Been abused by a spouse. I feel sorry for her. She was not a happy person.

It's called social dominance hierarchy. If you teach the boy to fight, you might think it builds character, it doesn't, it however promotes an increase in serotonergic pathways and dopamine receptors. The bullies get high on bullying, should I teach the bullied the same thing? Learning how to fight, won't make the boy forget the trauma, teaching him how to love, is the most humane thing.

I recommend learning a martial art. I did when I was bullied, and after I almost broke his nose(I learned taekwondo) I wasn’t bullied again. But a warning, it takes years to get good at one martial art. I started in 1st grade before I was bullied and the thing I was talking about was in 9th grade.

Even if he wasn’t their biological child, he still is their child by heart. There are so many biological parents who don’t raise their child right and who abuse their children. A parent is someone who protects, provides, and loves their child/children.

It's the fact that he ran to his parents as soon as he saw the puppy to thank them. Omg it did something to my heart, he didn't just stand there and cry. His first thought was to thank his parents rather than think "omg a puppy! I finally got what I wanted!" Cutest kid ever. My worst years...10 and 11 grade. The only person in the world I can say I hate is a girl in those years of my life. She has now been divorced twice. Changed religions 3 times. Been abused by a spouse. I feel sorry for her. She was not a happy person.

I recommend learning a martial art. I did when I was bullied, and after I almost broke his nose(I learned taekwondo) I wasn’t bullied again. But a warning, it takes years to get good at one martial art. I started in 1st grade before I was bullied and the thing I was talking about was in 9th grade.

You know what lad? I was bullied at school for 6 years when I was a kid, every day. I ended up being a sergeant in 45 Commando Royal Marines & now I own an IT company. The 3 lads that bullied me got nowhere in life. You can achieve anything you want, the world is yours to explore. Be good to people, help people if you can and one day you will look at yourself in the mirror and see a real man.

It's the fact that he ran to his parents as soon as he saw the puppy to thank them. Omg it did something to my heart, he didn't just stand there and cry. His first thought was to thank his parents rather than think "omg a puppy! I finally got what I wanted!" Cutest kid ever.
