The rodeo/pegasus and petit H are literally a scam. It's made from leather scraps from the atelier and they got their worth from all the bags they sold.
I think it’s good they are not wasteful. They don’t throw perfectly good leather in the bin and they make something creative. There is beauty in that. Thanks for your thoughts anyway! I enjoy different opinions
Jess, since you have such a variety, I have an idea. I would love to see a comparison of different Hermès colors, also with different leathers, how they look realistically, in daylight for example … maybe different videos by color families. That would be amazing and helpful for buying preloved or online 🙏🏼✌️ thanks for considering
I was at an Hermès event a few months ago and I was able to see and touch the different types of leather. I made a short video, if Jess would make the video, I would send my footage gladly to her.
I have one herbag 31 that I bought second hand and love, but looking at those price increases put me off any more, like there’s only so much value I can place on the designs to justify the price, and since I’m not in the 1% it’s just not for me
Thank you for highlighting these prices. Other commenters are correct, the prices are absurd. One purse and a couple charms could buy a new or used car. BYD Seagull, very nice entry-level EV, ~ $12,000 US.
I feel broke with these new Hermes prices, just literally bought a loewe briefcase second hand in good condition for like less than $100 AUD. I guess its pre-loved for me when it comes to bags, shoes ill still buy them new
I have to admit, I thought the increases would be more egregious. Example the Roulis Mini going from $13,860 AUD to $14,520 while high, is less than a $1000 increase. I read an article in the NY Times that luxury as a whole has experienced a drop in revenue overall. The writer mentioned that price increases actually increase the demand as if you can afford the increase it separates you even further from those who cannot. I expect prices to increase even more next year.
They've increased the price of the twillies! Jeez. $400 for a small scarf that tears easily. I bought some from europe and they were cheaper last year. Man, not worth it unless I know someone going to Europe and is at the airport.
i feel like they want these non-quota bags to get closer to the others in pricing. newer bag styles come in priced higher from the start, like that bucket bag thing i cannot remember the name of and the Geta for example, or even the Steeple. they cost way more than the older styles, so they are aggressively pushing prices on them and increasing at least 2-3x a year hoping we won’t notice so much and say each time that it isn’t so bad😂

@Jessiestyle I have nothing against zero waste. It's the astronomical prices that are the issue.
There’s no reason for these items to be priced that high. Absolutely no reason
As long as people like me buy it…that’s the reason!
In Canada, we got a price decrease on the rodeo and Constance slim. Plus I’ve noticed other SLGs have gone down by price by $10-$50
Interesting!
Wow!!! Coool!!!
hi Do you know the new price for picotin in CAD?
I am OUT! Done!
These prices are ridiculous at this point! I am going to enjoy what I have…

It's actually not as drastic as last year, at least here in the UK. I also noticed a price decrease on some items.
Which items decreased?
Yes!! I heard there was some decreases too!! On some diamond jewellery
@@francescathegreat1 some of the SLGs and shoes, maybe more as I didn't look at all departments

i do wonder if that leather guy will ever do a birkin and tell us what it really is worth lol.
You could do a video Jess on things you bought over the years because of pressure of price increases
Ooo! That could be a good topic
I bought my belt. I’ll buy one more belt and I’m done with Hermes and Chanel.
❤
I wish I knew it in usd
Wow that's terrible 😕!
I'm sticking with Dupes. :-)
