The dilemna with the Hermes design is that there are no logos so it's really easy to copy without being sued. Unlike brands that are logo heavy. You need to cheat the eye to alter the wordings or the design of the logo and make it appear it's a dupe. As a retired Interior Designer, when it comes to patent unless you tweak the design a bit then you can defend it in court if sued. In the case of this Wirkin, if they added a long strap which the original doesn't have then they just might win the case. Very ingenious because they placed the hardware of the strap inside so if you don't use the strap you have yourself a perfect replica! 😂

I work at Walmart and I’ve never seen a customer come in with a genuine Birkin I’ve seen Chanel, LV and the smaller brands like Coach and Kate Spade, customers are asking about the wirkin I have to tell them that they are online only and now hard to get, I don’t see a real problem with the bag, because Birkins are not affordable to a lot of working Americans myself included I wear Coach only. The wirkin looks like a nice bag I see nothing wrong with people buying it Hermes should make their bags more affordable attainable.
