i bought louis vuitton from the real real & know for a fact my bag is real because i took it to the actual louis vuitton store for repairs & they repaired it & told me in store, they do NOT repair fakes so the fact they repaired my bag from the real real confirms it was authentic 💖 also have purchased louboutins from both the actual louboutin store AND the real real & the ones from the real real look the exact same as my louboutins from the actual store. dupes never look the exact same, the chinese always make a flaw with their dupes

It's interesting, really, why people would go this far to pretend. Don’t get me wrong, we all love a good aesthetic moment (and who doesn’t love looking good). But the hustle to look like you own the world has to be exhausting. Real talk: If your joy comes from pretending to unbox a bag that isn’t even real, we need to unpack that instead.

Absolutely. But another thing to consider - so many people (especially Americans) are in INSANE debt. The items unboxed on many of these channels/profiles are real, but the creator’s finances are in shambles.

I still can’t understand how people forget that some of these luxury places let you rent out there expensive handbags. People might think there favourite influencers are like rich as hell well they just go into the store and rent a bag for a day or week.

Hey Dacob! I feel lika many influencers are wearing fakes and then when it doesn’t look as good they will blame it on the quality going down. I have seen alot of unboxing videos where the classic flap has been croocked but when i went to the store i only saw bags in great condition none of them was crooked or anything. To blame it on quality feels like just a way out to buy fakes!

Those cracked straps on the Dior dupe, reminds me. So I bought an authentic Chanel on FarFetch, from I think it was 2003 Summer, really cute pink shamrock print canvas, with rose gold hardware, I love it, but suspect the part of the strap with canvas has cardboard inside, which is disappointing to say the least. It should have been plastic or anything else.

I made this comment on another site. It was about the Walmart Birkin. I just thought it might fit in here with real/fake products & people: For instance I love the style & look of the Birkin bag. I think it is stylish & classic. Bags are not made like that anymore. However the price of a Birkin is way out of my budget. I'd have to save a lifetime to buy one. And even then I doubt that I would. If I can get a dupe for around $100.00, and it has the overall look, you bet I'm going to buy it. I couldn't give a damn about what others think. I genuinely like the bag. I don't care what name/brand is or isn't on it. I honestly think the bag is a beautiful design. There are plenty of ugly designer bags that I wouldn't buy the dupes of.
