This reminds me of a no start on a 80'S Firebird, Found 8-10 ft of garden hose in fuel tank. it had knocked the fuel pump loose in the tank. Turns out the boyfriend had tried to get gas from the car to finish mowing the girlfriends yard. PIA needless repair, had to drop rear axle to get the tank out. Girlfriend said it was the most expensive"YARD WORK" she'd ever had done. She took the piece of hose when she left. I often wonder if she inserted it in her boyfriends GAS HOLE when she got home......................
I think it would be better to not have this antiphon device. I would rather lose a few gallons of gas than pay for a mechanic to fix this problem. Put in a locking gas cap.
The new workshop is looking smashing tim :-D Did you use a hose clamp to tighten the grid fit or was it a new pipe assembly? So some shitbag is trying to steal the fuel, some people have no shame.
Had a 2003 E450, thieves cut the fill neck hose to get a siphon hose in. Not getting all they wanted, the thief drilled a hole in the steel gas tank. Sad thing is, the tank has a drain plug built in from the factory.
Very nice shop Tim. I like how you installed your air supply line overhead and thru the ceiling. Thats a great idea. I might do that in my little two car garage.
Nice shop and video. I was wondering if the tank had one of those honeycomb things in it preventing the fuel from going in. Thanks for the tour and video.
So you’re not gonna tell us how to fix the evap problem ?

Nice shop Tim! Glad to see you up and running. Hope fishing season goes well!
What size of pex did you use in your air system? A new shop is a beauty to behold.

Thxs for the tour Tim look an good...If you can let us know how you fixed the gas neck....
Oh, I just popped the anti-siphon insert back in. It seemed like a tight fit. If it was mine I probably would have just left it out I guess.

shop looks great! 😀👍
i thought a stuck closed vent valve but nice find! they have been drilling holes in the tank to steal gas
Was glad they didn’t drill the tank or cut the fill pipe to get gas.
