Great honest review Dude. Some very valid points made, I'm glad I stumbled across your video...Liked and subbed
Thanks man! That's what I intended for when it comes to the review!
Good review bro!
@@JoshsWayOfLife thanks so much 🙏🏻✊🏻
@@JoshsWayOfLife loved your review too bro! Even subbed. I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for the channel! Onwards and upwards ✊🏻
@ Ahhhhh!! Same! Definitely appreciate you checking it out. Good vibes for us both to take off in 2025!🤝🫡
Got my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL a couple months ago. It's very dependable and I love the selfie camera. Best investment I made this year 💯
@@JoseGarcia-si3id same here! I made the jump after receiving a copy of the phone to use for testing purposes and after that testing phase was over I had to return the device - which you see a black 9 pro version in some of the clips on this review (sent back to Google) and I was so sad that it had to go back as I really didn't want my time to end with it so I opted to purchase it on sale and use Google credit I had as well so it was even cheaper than the deal from the Web store.
From there I decided to sell my 16 pro and I haven't missed it at all.
I don't even think about it period.
I absolutely love this phone and I am completely blown away by it.
It's just too good and fits my overall needs.
Great review bro
Appreciate you ☺️
Just corious . Why would you game on settings that you Can feel frame drops and throttle . Do you need ultra high settings ? Just put it on medium settings and get full fps no throttle . This chip is better than sd870 and sd888 and even par with 8 gen 1 so to play a game where it throttles doesn't make any sense. Even on a gaming pc or iPhone and Samsung u don't set to ultra settings if you don't want frame drops
Thanks for your feedback! The goal of testing the phone with maxed-out settings was to push the hardware to its limits and see how it performs under the most demanding conditions. It’s less about what I need for gaming and more about showcasing the phone’s capabilities (and limitations) at its peak performance.
You’re absolutely right that playing on medium settings is the optimal choice for smoother gameplay and avoiding throttling, and I’d recommend that for a consistent gaming experience. But for the review, I wanted to highlight how the Pixel 9 Pro handles extreme scenarios, as some users are curious about that aspect. Thanks for pointing out the chip's strengths-it’s great for balancing performance and efficiency!
iPhone 16 line and AI has been beyond disappointing. Cameras and the damn ecosystem with older parents and family keeps me around... Truly trying to leave.
Nice job on your video!
Thanks man! First one for this channel in this style. I'm just a very brutally honest person and wanted to give a non bias review from the way I look at it.
Apple is falling behind in innovation.
I had the 16 pro which I sold and went with the pixel 9 pro and haven't looked back.
I say take the leap and you won't regret it.
I’m in the exact same situation, dying to leave but surrounded by Apple using family
@@graham1155 its easier said than done. I totally get it though. I know the pressure and that's how apple has build their wall. They played the long game in building this system to keep you integrated into their platform of consumer products that just seamlessly work (which they do) but its a stale lackluster product that hasn't done anything to innovate or cater to the mast majority of others with slow integration of Type C, they only did it because they were forced to.
You see, apple isn't for the consumer, but simply out to make money like any consumer product.
Phones have plutoed like mentioned and there is really no reason to upgrade every year as we have reached peak smartphone tech.
The gimmicks are all coming out because we don't have anything else to provide as part of an upgrade cycle.
in reality, consumer products should listen to consumer feedback and innovate but they know that isn't how to make money, its to brand and market the latest and greatest thing to make you feel like you NEED it.
Apple products are fantastic, no question about it. I love Apple. but I cannot stand their strategy and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and makes me shy away from their products even though I love them.
Switching is hard because they build that customer retention and this is why it is so hard to move on because everyone is literally stuck with that product and kept you in their trap, Family, Friends, Group Chat bubbles, and Ecosystem.
It is a mind game that works and this is why they are a trillion dollar company.
everyone wants to be APPLE.
I say YOU DO YOU and get a phone you want and don't follow the norm and feel great by being you.
After simply switching to the pixel i felt a sense of relief like i wasn't held down in this restrictive software.
iOS is good, but not great. it is tailored to keep you in and not out.
This is why EU is pushing them to open it up, but they know if they do it can lead to users leaving.
To be honest this is far from the truth. It will bring in more people.
Just my thoughts and take on the matter.
Thanks for watching!
