I love that xqc is a dota man. It's objectively the best video game on the planet and if you disagree you're just not seeing it. You don't get it.
Literally, I played League for 10 years and I regret every single day, I wish I could've "invested" that time in DotA
@@saiprien9565 It's genuinely beautiful. The turn rates, the uphill miss, the laning dynamics, the economy, pulling and lane manipulation, the long intense teamfights with multiple buybacks and tps, the roaming on supports...
Nothing can compare, and when you play a good game of Dota it's almost a spiritual experience.

@@dotanon yeah, it's very complex but in a good way. I still remember when I first started 1 year ago, every day i learnt new stuff. When I first heard about pulling and stacking I went crazy, such an amazing mechanic.
@@blackstreak02 I did manage to meet some friendly people and they thought me a bit. I'm still trying to study the game and improve a lot, I legit have almost similar growth as Grubby. In 6 8 months of ranked (after some big pauses in between) I managed to hit Ancient 2.

Those are not called skins but sets. Because it's cosmetics sets of items. You can equip items for different body parts from different sets (skins) and mix them up.

@@-kmt-1613 yeah but most chess matches are maybe 10-20 minutes. A match of dota is at least 30-60 minutes

@@dud5606 yep, that is why you should consider "go end i afk", im not even kidding, save ur time, if u want to progress then be efficient, be a little bit selfish of your time wasted on unconstructive games, in higher ranks people do less throws anyway. a losing game is a lose, especially if u have late game disadvantage in core matchups

U don't need to learn all the mechanics in one go. Step by step, beginners don't have to overwhelm themselves with these mechanics.
