she isn't releasing anything. blame youtube (google) or whatever demands the songs also on this vevo thing. Music industry is shitty all the way to real artists like Annie Clark.
Not sure why but today this song was stuck in my head. I just had to listen to it again. For me this is one of the best things about t Vincent. She is so diverse & songs I haven't heard in awhile creep back into my head & I just have to hear it again. Absolutely Love her as an artist & the band is Great!
I thought it was just the melody that she'd written but the rest of the song came later? She talks about it in her Master Class (which is amazing, by the way!)
because youtube (google) and music industry as a whole is super shitty for real artists like Annie Clark. (Now they demanded these songs as vevo versions and that is why these are re-uploaded.)
Just struck me that your persona resonates a lot like Annie Lennox from years ago. Now that's a compliment! You do it your own way but you're trend setting. And a great musician to boot!
ANNIE IF YOU SEE THIS, RELEASE THE MASSEDUCTION STYLE REWORKS OF YOUR OLD SONGS THAT YOU PERFORMED ON THE FEAR THE FUTURE TOUR!!! ESPECIALLY NOW NOW PLEASEEEE
I found a bunch of RUclips recordings of them, synced audio from all the sh*tty phone recordings and blended them together so they actually sound pretty good (some of them sound great, some just decent) and have them in my iTunes library. By layering recordings from different people who were in different concert sections, the background noise disappears almost entirely. I have Now, Now from Detroit, and it turned out pretty well. I can send them to you somehow.
@@vigolovesyou drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rmYp1zNj_fe8AArPih3w-hNcoBovXypO I also included the album art I used since google drive seems to have deleted it. The Detroit songs sound way better than the Paris ones, and the more popular songs, like Digital Witness, sound better because more people uploaded their recordings. And because I put more work into those ones, lol. So basically Digital Witness (Live in Detroit) slaps the hardest. Honestly the Paris ones I did for practice and sound like sh*t, just listen to the Detroit ones and you’ll be happier lol… For Apple Music users, or anyone who wants to add these to the Music app on their Apple devices, you can simply drag and drop these files into iTunes on Windows or the Music app on Mac to add to your library. Click “Get Info” and you can adjust things like track names and album art if they don’t appear automatically. Before anyone asks, yes you do need a desktop computer to do that, but if you don’t have one available you can still listen to the files, or even add them to some third party audio players, or just add them to your Files app.

The song's use of the Hail Mary in a sexual context creates a direct opposition to the traditional Catholic understanding of the Virgin Mary. She is revered for her purity and virginity, and is seen as a symbol of maternal love and devotion. Her role in giving birth to Jesus signifies both divine grace and selflessness. Therefore, using the prayer "Hail Mary" in a sexual context is a provocative and offensive subversion of these deeply held beliefs. It challenges the idea of Mary's sanctity and suggests that even the most venerated figures are not immune to human desires and passions. I see this as a misguided attack on Catholicism. What greater Honor and highest privilege can woman be given by God to be asked to give birth to a divine person who is human (given to Him by Mary) and divine who is the second person of the Holy Trinity. Curious to know your thoughts on this is St.Vincent.
Annie’s team releasing Masseduction songs for the 5th time LOL Get your coin girl
as they should!!!
we love to see it

She wrote this song before even making Masseduction. Burned it into a disk, wrote ‘my first single’ on it and distributed among her friends.
I thought it was just the melody that she'd written but the rest of the song came later? She talks about it in her Master Class (which is amazing, by the way!)
Only the please part which she then repurposed into Savior
This conference interview thing was so iconic 😫 Masseduction era was wild

You’re inspecting my bruises

You said “girl, you’re not Jesus”
Whatever Mother demands, we give
I like this new song, reminding me of her "Masseduction" era
