Being a classic jazz dance buff, I have few of those books (including yours) in possession. I recently purchased both the physical and eBook formats of Dianne Leathem's Look Before You Leap: Steps to Your Child's Greatest Success in Dance. Pulling Back the Curtain on the Dance Industry. It's primarily a book for parents who enroll their kids in dance, but the author's in-depth look inside the flaws in our dance industry (especially the overemphasis on tricks in competition routines and the lack of qualified, certified teachers) make it a worthwhile companion to the books you listed. What it doesn't mention is the fact that most teachers have a pedantic comprehension of jazz dance history and heritage, hence me reading it.
I listened to your presentation early this morning before running out to work (so that I could be home in time for your Mattox class!). What a fantastic library you have! I own a few of the books that you mentioned, but I want to read all of the books about Jazz dance history. Maybe when I retire..... Thank you for sharing your education.
I have Sterns Jazz Dance book!!! A treasure for sure
Thank you, Bob ♡
You help me a lot!

Thanks, Kathleen - I've been collecting for decades with most of them acquired during my master's degree studies at NYU (quite a long time ago!)
