I took anthropology instead of psychology and honestly, I loved it. It was super cool learning about other cultures and made me way more open minded. It also used social skills, most anthropology classes will want you to interview people so you get better at professional one on one communication as opposed to public speaking where you're talking to a lot of people at once. It felt a lot more applicable to real life than what I've heard of intro level psych classes.
