- Since I'm officially done with buying Chanel, I figured I would do a Chanel collection video and also share some of the reasons why I don't plan to buy anymore Chanel products in the future. There are some good stories I share from my personal experience (good, bad and ugly).

Dior definitely gave me the best experience out of all luxury brands - their SA always patience and attendance no matter which store in Europe or how basic I dress!

Thank you for sharing your story and I’m so sorry to hear that that happened. I wanted to comment because I walked into one of their boutiques the other day but ended up leaving because the vibe was so tense and I just didn’t even feel comfortable being in there😅. But for the price tags on these bags I would expect the best and kindest service from the sales people. You have an amazing collection!

I'm totally with you! I own four Chanel bags but every time I walk into the store, I feel like I don't 'look' like I can buy something there LOL!! It's the tense vibe.

I’m with you…..”bitch…….” I love it!!!! I call and talk to my husband all the time about big purchases not for approval but just to get his opinion. We are grown ass women but as you said “out of respect….”Love this video.

The customer service is awful and they know it. Last year I was on the waitlist for a black Chanel 19 WOC. I finally got a call from the store that they have the bag and I can come collect it. I reached the store within an hour of receiving their message but there was a queue to wait. I told the staff that I'm there to collect the bag but they said I have to still queue up so I took a queue number. I waited at Starbucks for three hours until I got my turn to go in. When I went in and asked for the bag, they said it was sold about an hour back!!!!!! I was so angry at this entire behaviour - knowing very well that a customer is waiting outside for a particular bag, why did they sell it?? It just baffled me!!! I really gave a piece of my mind to the store manager and walked away in disgust. They definitely have more stock in the warehouse cos they organised one for me the next day.

Same happened to me, except they still had it but manager said they’re holding it for another customer! I called around and eventually had to go to another state to get it

You have a good collection! Green is my color too and that’s what I am actually waiting to close my collection with but I haven’t been lucky enough to get one that I am in love with. There was one that got away last year….. I was unable to come down to the boutique right away and so😩
I have had a rude SA before too..good thing I did not see anything I wanted that day because I wouldn’t want to buy from her.

Reminds me of an experience buying an LV bag before. The seller was kind of rude, like she was hurrying me to pay for it because other people were interested. I asked her if I can pay like 2 hrs later because I was looking after my kids. She was like, no you have to pay now because other people are very interested. It's not like I was going to pay the day after! So when I look at the bag I still remember that experience.
Ugh, I’m sorry and totally understand! A bad experience can really kill some of the joy when you look at the bag sometimes. That is def what happened to me too. But I had to remind myself to separate the two things and just enjoy my bag….I couldn’t let that person’s bad energy follow me. I hope you can do the same ❤️
I love the mix of colors and nuetrals ❤ and that you have different styles. My collection is small. 2 vintage, 2 seasonal and it’s more than enough.
I would love to add a 19 and cream classic flap if I can find one at good price in the future

I love your collection. The way you wear the pearl crush tuck the end inside the bag. That way you will end up with a double chain on one side and one side with a single chain. That is a very cute style.

I use Collonil leather cream, but there are a number of other good brands out there too. Cadillac is another one I’ve used as well. I hope that helps and thank you for watching! ❤️

I agree with all your points. I'm tired of playing the Chanel game and have better things to do with my time and money. I've also experienced an unpleasant salesperson which resulted in a bad experience - I'm too much of a wimp to complain to the manager. I have enough CC bags and anyway will be moving soon to a shore area where it's less "flashy" than my current NYC suburb - I'll be happy to leave the $$ in the bank. What a beautiful collection you have!
Sorry you had a bad experience too. But sounds lovely that you’re moving close to a shore! I was just editing a raffia bag collection video coming out in 2 weeks so maybe you’ll spend your money on fun and less expensive raffia bags for a new lifestyle 😉

I really enjoyed your practical, honest, thorough reviews and would feel the same way you do- those are almost the exact bags (and colors) that are on my list. Except I’d probably have to double up on the 19 and get another that’s pink PINK. I love brightly colored lux bags and appreciate that you didn’t just branch out to colors after U got them all in black/brown first (like a lot of ppl on here).
Also, I don’t think ANY of them are grandma bags… or tacky. I think they’re classy and timeless!

I’m so sorry that happened to you, and you’re right, you deserved a much better experience. But yes….. I get the lack of inventory sort of makes you at their mercy, and you have to get it when you can find it.

Do not let a hateful person destroy your love for the bag... let it go, don't imprint that memory on the bag. I visited Boston and had a great experience in the LV store inside Nordstrom, then they suggested I go to the Flagship store as the perfumes are there... I felt awkward, and not appreciated in that store and I left without buying anything... The entire mall was luxury brands and I didn't visit any other stores because of the way I was made to feel in the LV store... Just mentioning that because I will probably never be in a mall of luxury again, and that one SA ruined the experience for me.
My husband told me the same thing bc you’re right , it’s crazy how a positive or negative experience of buying something can really transcend to the feelings you have toward that purchase. I had very negative feelings about the bag initially but I feel much better about it now. Thank you so much for sharing what happened to you. Don’t let the bad shopping experience at one store affect future experiences ✨ There are some super helpful sales people out there too…bad apples everywhere but some sweet ones too! ❤️
I love the Trendy CC because of the metal plate on top. Mine came with the raised Chanel on it and I get lots of compliments whenever I use it.🥰
Like you, I won’t be buying anymore handbags from Chanel. Last SA I dealt with was not very nice when I told her I didn’t want to buy a display bag, she told me I was too particular. With the amount of $$$ I’m spending I’m not just going to settle on a display bag that’s been fondled by so many hands. I asked for another SA and she sarcastically told me good luck getting a brand new untouched bag. I went to another boutique and got the bag I wanted in a different color (brand new),,the SA was much nicer but I didn’t like that she tried to pressure me to get a matching wallet after I just spent an arm and an ass for my classic handbag.🤦🏻♀️

How is it that my grandmother has cherished the same CHANEL handbag for nearly half a century?
It's astonishing to witness the precipitous decline in quality among these so called "luxury" brands.
Dior sweaters, once known for exceptionalism, now unravel before your eyes due to the inferior length of their cashmere fibers.
Versace offers BRASS jewelry that tarnishes one's skin within a week, while CHANEL's fine jewelry is prone to snapping and shedding its precious stones.
Moreover, Hermès has ceased to allow customers the courtesy of selecting preferred hues for their bespoke bags.
I yearn for quality, yet these brands seem to forsake it altogether.
How can it be that a modest ring, purchased for 50€ from a local artisan during my travels, outlasts a $700 ring from Versace? (I still treasure the former, while the latter was discarded long ago.)
It is genuinely shocking. In today's world, if one desires luxury, it is found not within the walls of boutiques, but through the talents of exceptional seamstresses, particularly those in the drag community. Opt for high-caliber fabrics and invest in singular, handmade garments, crafted by individuals with distinctive stories.

You have a nice variety of Chanel handbags, but what is a collection without a pool handle Coco Handle 😂?! That is my favorite bag from the brand and only bag. I’m eyeing a Trendy CC because I tend to lean towards top handle bags. My experiences in store have been lackluster, so I ended up purchasing preloved. Enjoyed your sweet sassy personality.

Coco handle look nice on the outside but not a very practical bag to use imo. Cant put as much things despite their outer sizes look is bigger. I have 3 and sold 1. Maybe Thinking of selling 2 of them again... 1 is small 1 is medium sized. I have 1 trendy cc as well.
45 minutes is really long, you know there’s usually a very long line right? They are pressured to close sales. I usually spend 15 mins max. If I don’t want it, I just say no and mindful not to take up their time too.
Having said that, she could be more tactful.

Maybe someone can answer me this question. Does the Chanel 19 gets very very deformed if it is used all the time? I ‘m not talking about the slouchiness that characterizes the bag but more about being deformed to the point of loosing its shape.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen one very misshapen but then again this bag has only been around since 2019.

Nice collections you got. 😊 its time to move on to Hermes lol... Its quality is much better than chanel. So far in my country, the SA in H serves better than in C. But my C SA isn't rude.... The H SA is just more enthusiastic and engaging... Clothes and shoes in H is also more affordable than in C... Of course we spend for their BKC but some of their bags are cheaper than C but quality is much better. I was a die hard Chanel fan and now moved on to H after the peace purse from Chanel.

This really helped me. I have been contemplating buying a classic flap in the mini size for months now. I have a *small* collection of chanel items but I could never bring myself to spend that much money on a bag. My mother would raise up out of her grave and slap me!! Lol
I totally understand…to be honest, I generally hate talking about prices bc if someone in my real life heard how much I paid for these bags, they’d be horrified and I couldn’t logically explain it to anyone who doesn’t love handbags. Why can’t you put the tail back in the bag?
I’ve been tucking it in the bag but it falls out as your wear it. The newer versions have 3 grommets at the top to prevent having a lose tail so that’s a brilliant update! Thanks for watching! ❤️
@@heartmumblr I know this sounds a little off but if you tuck it in and then open the bag and safety pin it to the inside with a very small safety pin, (assuming the interior is not leather, I have to go back and look at the review ) so nobody sees it do you think that would help.

I am a byatch when someone is to me. I would ask for their name, speak to their manager and then report them to the head office. and keep going until I get someone higher up to respond. I would be a pain, quote the date and time. Many would just forget about it but that's just not me. These people exist because everyone let them be rude to them. You are actually paying their salary and their boss is just the middle man that hands it to them. So I never feel bad to report these sales associates.

It's sad people collect purses but not clotehs. It's just 3K suits like all designer s uits from what we can tell. It's a sign they can't afford this stuff. It is overpriced in order to create mystique. Too bad it's so high. They got rich and famous by selling cheaper stuff, too. No idea how much their jewelry is. The cost*. It'd be intreesting to know how much those pins were. A-lot probably. We were at aberson's alley and they sold 3K suits there. 3 000 $ suits.
It seems like walmart is selling chanel copy shoes and accessories now. The berets back there with the tweed headbands and the flower hair clips look like they might be camelia which is chanels logo or whatever. We bought some of that stuff. They had braided pearl headbands too and chanel does braiding always. we touched one and a pearl fell off on the end though. didn't buy that. oh and a coat looked like a chanel knock- off.
the extra chain on the bag's okay to us it's like their clothes matching them.
Great collection! With respect I think when a person thinks a luxury handbag it’s “not worth the price” is either A- not truly a real brand (Chanel) lover but more of a person that thinks bag’s value is what it matters. Or B- Someone that probably thinks handbags are for investments. IMHO a true brand handbag lover, buys the bag and thinks is worth for her and an investment for their wardrobe.
I DO AGREE 💯 that SA was very unprofessional, snob and not properly educated in etiquette, I am sorry that happened to you, it’s incredible how often we hear stories like yours about this.
I love Chanel it’s my favorite fashion house! Personally, it is worth it for me and an investment for my wardrobe, but I would not like to have this kind of service from a SA no matter what fashion house or brand is.
I agree with you 💯! Whether something is “worth it” to someone is completely personal…and it could be for so many different reasons. But you’re right, I probably do think of the bags value relative to what I think it’s worth vs am I a die-hard Chanel lover. For now, I feel “purse peace” with Chanel. I was once a die hard Chanel fan because i have been wanting to have it since a kid. Yes many of my friends/cousins wear chanel bags given their wealthy background. But i wasn't the case hence my obssession with Chanel because i can only look at it from afar. Now i can afford it and i bought 17 handbags in 3 years since 7yrs ago. Then went on to SLGs shoes etc... And i felt purse peace as well with chanel. Then i start to wonder of its price... If it's worth it... And i also dont feel its worth it especially after i start to move on to Hermes since 2021. I stop buying chanel as well. So im with Heart. Once you reach a peace purse, you will wonder if its worth the price. And especially if you moved to Hermes because their quality is far exceeds chanel.
The girls in the Chanel store are actually envious of the shoppers as they can’t even afford it themselves so forget her! B**ch pls as you said haha!!!

If the price goes up, that indicates the value is increasing. This is more reason to purchase a Chanel handbag. Have you taken a course in economics? I would buy bags. They are tangible, unlike the monetary system. Chanel has had one of the best investments in classic bags in the past 30 years. Could you do your homework?
