Great match by Cinja with her typical competitive fire, but Svenja seemed passive, almost intimidated. Kelly won this match at the net, dominating the duel of the blockers.
Cinja shot at the end though was just the worst, but agree with you overall she is a total class act.

I sometimes think about what her career could have been if she had not been kept on the outside looking in for a decade by the German federation, because she was just as good at age 21.

It's one of those bizarre matches where despite the result this was totally the Müller/Tillmann show. 54-46 on points. They battered Hughes/Cheng in the first and should still have taken it in the last set but for the sloppy service error from Svenja and the horrendous shot from Cinja right at the death.

Svenja was just non-existent in this game. Cinja however is world class player.
Agree she is a quality player, but the shot at the end was beyond bad. You can tell from her reaction she knew that.
9:53 sooo sad seeing her Like this!! But that‘s Beachvolleyball: you can totally dominate in the first set, lead in the third, yet still lose the game 😢
