  • @richtmax1

    I have a U.S enhanced driver's license (EDL). So, I know that's all I need to cross. Thus I don't need a passport since both sides accept EDLs as an alternative.
    However, just wondering if you know is Arrive CAN is still required for entry to the Canadian side? (I think currently Arrive CAN is only for air travel currently not but wanted to make sure.)

      If you have an EDL you should have no problem getting across the border. As long as your EDL is issued by a US state or Canadian province that issues them you are good (several US states and Canadian provinces issue EDL's; unfortunately, Florida (where I'm from) does not issue EDL's).

    Hada question. Thank you for the informative video. I am flying into New York from overseas. I want to see Niagara Falls both US and Canada side. Once in New York where should I fly into as I want to spend a night at the Canadian side and visit Clifton Hills and see some casinos. So from New York is there a direct flight to Niagara on the Canadian side? It will be very helpful if I can get this sector worked out so that I can return back to the US side and visit New Yorkma d other areas around it. I like to first get Niagara Falls out of the way. I have 3 to 4 days on hand for Niagara Falls but prefer to spend the nights at the Canadian side and then return back to USA side. If there a domestic airport at Niagara Falls covering both US and Canadian side? I am unaware and this will be my first ever visit. Will really appreciate if you could guide me the best way to travel from New York as my flight from overseas is direct to JFK New York and I like to travel domestically by flight to save time but not sure where to head to see Niagara Falls, is it doable by airport or must we take the long bus journey?

    • @thasneen
      @thasneen  5 месяцев назад

      The most convenient option might be flying into Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Buffalo, New York. From there, you can easily cross the border into Canada by road (approximately a 30-minute drive) or by taking a shuttle service. There are rental car services available at the airport, or you could opt for a pre-arranged shuttle service that will take you directly to your hotel on the Canadian side. There isn't a domestic airport directly at Niagara Falls that serves both the US and Canadian sides.
      Canadian side of Niagara falls is the happening place with all the attractions & only hotels on the CA side have the stunning falls view (mentioned in the video). Clifton hill & most attractions are walking distance from all the hotels that I've showed in the video. You can also take the shuttle while walking inside the Niagara park on the CA side. Note: hotels on the US side are not close to the falls & don't have the falls view & there are only 1 or 2 hotels that are a few minutes aways from the Niagara park on the US side. Do watch this video to get an idea on the immigration process while crossing the border, Crossing the US-Canada border over Niagara Falls: ruclips.net/video/hL3OEmaBqa8/видео.html

      1-Large luggage can be taken, there might be weight restrictions, do check the immigration website for more details.
      2-To enter USA or Canada, covid testing is not required, no random testing as well.
      3-Until Sept 2022, to enter Canada, ArriveCAN must be submitted with proof of vaccinations.
