When things go bad then tend to take a snowball effect and it takes a PRO to grab the situation by its horns and guided the way you need to that is best to win. CONGRATS TO HIDEKI AND I ENJOYED WATCHING WHAT I THINK HAS BEEN SOME GREAT GOLF AS OF LATELY!
Hideki cans the long birdie putt on 17 to regain the lead, pipes the long dangerous drive on 18 and then nukes the approach shot over the water to 6 ft from the hole for the win all without even a hint of a smile, "pretty stoic"! That was some serious grown man golf, congrats to Hideki.
That approach shot on the 18th was mind-blowing, & the camera tracking really showed it. The ball skirted the water twice before landing within 5 ft of the hole. What an absolutely amazing tournament this was!
wow that's last shot to the green shows a certitude of confident champion .. it could have missed left in the water lol. What an incredible, fearless shot.
7:12〜 On the 17th hole, the moment Hideki Matsuyama made a birdie putt with an AI-predicted success rate of 9%, the leaves flew away like butterflies. It was as if he were announcing, ``Hideki Matsuyama has once again broken open the gate to visit the goddess of victory!''
The body language between 7/8th hole to the18th hole after he stiffed it is palpable. His excellent play in the first 3 rounds and honestly the first 11 holes of Sunday bought him some insurance down the stretch. He can he proud of this one and the finish to reinstate his dominance. This guy is so good.
The mentality after the collapse is unreal. Had to realise he was losing it to go and won it. Unbelievable golf from the 17th tee shot. Love this golfer, what a player... Straight from Paris without the caddy 👊👊👊⛳🏌️
Hideki’s totally the type who creates a nail-biting, heart-pounding game, still wins in the end, and somehow manages to come out with takeaways for the next one!
To not only take but also flush that final approach on 18 after losing and then barely regaining a 5 stroke lead on the back 9 can be described as nothing short of supreme confidence
Calling it how I saw it. Hideki wasn’t their “ideal PGA guy” so they tried to rattle him and did a good job of it. Glad he gathered himself together and won at the end. Hats off to Hideki. Poor officiating for the referee’s. They suck this time.
You know what would be really good? Not saying who won in the title of the video, that way you'd add a little excitement to it and you'd get more clicks.
Truly The Masters Champion 😎
That 18th hole - the 2nd shot over the pond - says so much about Hideki's mental fortitude. What a gutsy man! Samurai Golfer, Indeed.
Just pulled it.. like most of us do))
So happy for Matsuyama….He went difficult times with his health after a remarkable career but he’s back since about 15 months ….🎉🎉🎉
It was a great game. Congratulations, Hideki !
Well deserved win! Congratulations Hideki 🎈🎈✨✨🎈🎈🎆🎆

what a player, congrats
Love Hideki. Man I was screaming at the TV for a second when I watched it live. Congrats on the win.

I’m glad he won , fought hard gotta respect that
Hideki always shines on the really difficult and classic golf courses. He’s going to win plenty of tournaments!
Excellent observation, he kinda struggles on so called easy courses and eats up the really hard ones?
He battled, showed a lot of mental toughness, and then cool as hell dropping it on the green
He is soooo clutch. What a player
Hideki is very resilient to play magnificently the last 2 holes and win the FedEx with the best golfers in the world 🏆⛳🏌♀
World class Hideki!!!!
Nice to get a comfortable win but how much more satisfying is it to win tough! Well played, Hideki.
A true champion!
Well done Hideki. 🇬🇧❤️🇯🇵
That final birdie is just phenomenal
Respect after loosing 4strokes almost in row. A true champion.
Congrats hideki 🎉

The wheels started to fall off but a good break on 17 with the tee shot and 2 balls of steel shots down 18 got it done. Great win!
Nice to see Hideki Matsuyama win!
Hideki clutch in the last few holes. A mark of a true champion.
Pretty impressive that he was mentally able to come back, considering his near train wreck after the turn

The last hole is Emperor mode
Crazy performance, great amazing victory Hideki

Genesis, St. Jude, and an Olympics Bronze. Not a bad year for Hideki
Such a great win! He didn’t give up!
The man has character. Mentally strong.
What a crazy final round, congrats to Hideki. Xander, Viktor so close
He's an absolute beast
Congratulations 🎉🎉 super miracle shot 🏆🏆💖
staggeringly good!
Gambate Hideki 🔥
Thank you, I missed that last birdie putt so I was waiting for this video
Shows how good their mental strength is under adversity. Well done Hideki.
Go hideki
Congratulations 🎉🎉 amazing miracle shot and patters. ❤❤
Congrats Hideki

Wow. I think golf is one of the hardest sports to stay psychologically tuned in, and Hideki was locked.
The 17th put and the 18th 2nd. He just hidekied.
Talk about fortitude.
nice video title. he battled and he won!
Thee best iron player in the world!
Matsuyama-san IKUZO!!!!
Nice to see Tommy at the end, such a talented golfer. I’m predicting a major for Tommy next year!
Right after an Olympic bronze medal!
Enjoy your special day.

Did I hear someone say UP THE WAHS 😂😂 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
He hits one in the water and poses the whole time but drops his club in disgust at nice approach shots😅 love Hideki
Congrats Mats! Too bad we had to listen to Kisner and Kaufman!
I am a fan of his and I am glad he won but he me had a little worried. What's his name came too close for comfort.
7:29 UP THE WAHS! 😂
I couldn't hear it well, so it was helpful. I understand (lol)
Who is more famous in America, Shohei Otani or Hideki Matsuyama?
Hideki “Kamikaze” Matsuyama!!!!!
5:22 He's just like me fr fr

Rules official talking to him over that is ridiculous. Pretty obvious no penalty for a stupid rule at that.
Up da wahs
Biggest of spoiler alerts
they tried
Where’s Koepka, Bryson, Rahm …
who cares
Anderson Mark Wilson Jose Jones Jason
Jones Daniel Robinson Charles Rodriguez Carol
