    This IMHO is turning into the best channel for any level magicians.
    The advices here are priceless and it is something that I cannot find anywhere else.
    the reviews, interviews, rants and all the info in the channel are much more valuable than any tutorial.
    Thank you and carry on sharing your experience.

    Your info is so important, especially if you work the venues you mentioned. Transitional flowing is a must if you perform in a restaurant like I do, because a lot of times you will have the same people come in week after week and you need a good variety.

    Thank you so much for your comments on transitions between tricks. I have been clearly overworking this - trying to create a total coherance of prop and thematic material. Your advice makes me think I can relax about this a bit as long as I provide some rationale for moving from one trick to another other than "for my next trick." Thanks.

    Back in my musician days, I used to enjoy writing the segue between songs more than writing the songs themselves (I used to even deliberatly put *VERY* different songs next to each other just to test my metal LOL), and I enjoy the same in magic just as much. I'm staggered by the number of magicians that just blunder through without giving it a single thought.

    This is great! Question: do you go out of your way to have your set lists be different from another? I know some magicians have a "signature trick," do you think that's wise?

    • @magic-tv
      @magic-tv  3 года назад

      Good question. It’s fine having a signature trick but I wouldn’t create every set around that trick. There might be groups that have seen it before and want to see something different especially if you work restaurants etc.
      You can have multiple sets that include the same trick but I would have variation in there as well.
