    So what's the difference between L-Glutamine and L-Carnitine? Is one better than the other for muscle recovery/growth?

    • @MindPumpTV
      @MindPumpTV  5 лет назад +3

      They are unique amino acids with uniquely different actions within the body. They do some of the same stuff functionally - but not the same.

    This may be a dumb question, I'm starting to try to lose weight and I'm getting into exercising for the first time. I'm looking for a post workout shake to drink, is there a reason why you want a 2 to 1 carb to protein ratio in your shake?

    • @MindPumpTV
      @MindPumpTV  4 года назад

      In a situation where calories are NOT at a premium the 2:1 ratio allows one to supply adequate protein for recovery and enough carbs to replenish glycogen. If you are trying to reduce body fat I would recommend adhering to a lower ratio of carbs: protein.

    If the factory just happened to accidentally forget to remove a cherry seed from just one of those cherries used for the smoothie.
    Well.. then you got a cyanide poisoning on your hands
    Suicide? No a fucking cherry!

    Danny, why cherries? They're one of the most anti-inflammatory fruits available, i thought.

    • @MindPumpTV
      @MindPumpTV  5 лет назад +1

      Relatively speaking their acute ability to reduce inflammation is not so much that it would inhibit hypertrophy IMO. They are also in a very modest amount. Continuing to stack additional antioxidant-rich fruit/veg is not recommended. Dose dependance.

      Manuka (NZ or 🦘) Honey 🍯, BCAA & Betta alanine, Magnesium, Vitamin C, hydrolites. Recently thinking of adding raw Coca power (starting to drink before and during workout - may need slower release) but don't want to switch from something that works very well for me. Manuka was a recent addition to minimise the bitterness of BCAA and provide more microelements. 2L container
