"In this dead world, only two lived." So they are actually in a limbo-world where everything stays the same because people sees their "immortality" as a gift even thought it's a curse. They are stuck in this 'dead world' and sees the girl as 'cursed' when in reality she was the most 'gifted' one; she was alive; the people are what they feared the most, they are dead soul; and all that time she was trying to make their eyes open to the truth.
Most good songs have sometimes have few views, which they are rare songs and I think it's a cool challenge for vocaloid hearers or addicts(?) I LOVE THIS SONG!
Ok so I decided to put this song into the most complicated, philisophical explanation I could imagine. So after a lot of thinking, this is how I interpreted the song. And its hilarious because I don't think this was it was supposed to be, but its rather what I got out of it. The immortal people stand for the selfish people of the world. The girl was born into a horrible family, that being, the tree baring red fruit (the red fruit being the horrible things they had done) so she was cursed with death. So she was cursed to be an unsignificant being who wouldn't be known for what she did but rather what her parents did. And so she would live out her life being known as the child born under the tree bearing red fruit. Tired of being punished for no reason, she sought to change how people saw her. She "baked" the apples into apple pies (so turning the bad deeds into good ones) and began to try and help people and be kind (Selling the pies) But being the daughter of the infamous family, they refused and scorned her. "But I'm no different from all of you..." she says. Her voice falls short, meaning she can't speak because she knows what her family has done. But instead of giving up, she keeps trying to help people, but they all keep refusing her. The clock with the two sides is who she is on the inside (on the top) and who people think she is (on the bottom) She one day stumbles upon a boy who, like her, was born in a similar family. So he understood what she was doing and that is why the pies tasted good to him. They both lived together in the "dead" world (a world where they were the only ones who strived to change who people thought they were) Together, they began to live a life of helping people, while the people pittied them. They soon grew old, meaning unlike the other people, the memory of them was dying out. They were the only ones who could die because of the curse. But they were thankful for the "curse" because they were able to help countless people. When she says, "I suppose my voice will always fall short, its as if I'm simply invisable. Such is how everyone feigned (basically its fake) ignorance (obliviousness) because the world was cursed" she means the entire world pretends not to notice them or take notice of their actions because the world is cursed, meaning the people have their own mistakes but yet they feel the need to look down upon others. I dunno.. thats how I thought of it anyways... its confusing I know XD
Katatonic Reading your description with the song... Whoa, makes sense thought that's not the manga story it's so good! I think you can take this example to real life, like, every vocaloid songs are like this. I liked your interpretation :3
Lunimirian Macoly lol thanks XD Yeah I was just thinking like... I can make this so much more complicated than it actually is and I came up with that XD
xD Really, that's actually good because you can create more for the song. Not just -listen to it-, oh it's like this -end of the story- If you get it x.x
Just to confuse me even more xD I love vocaloid songs because you can imagine crazy things while interpreting the lyrics. Yah, that's it, hours whithout sleep thinking what the song means >.>
*after playing mad father...* "wonder what cool vocaloid songs are yet to be discovered?" *saw this video and clicked on it* "I am speechless... Aya Drevis and Robin!(robin is dio's real name)
I love this song so much still ;w; I'm not sure how I can explain how I interpret this story, but it's kinda like the Adam and Eve story where they were told not to eat the fruit. I don't see it fully like that. I noticed the other people aged as well, so I figure the fruit isn't a curse, it's like, "don't do this" but that the thing not to try is just something new and people hate it and other people that like it because society told them it's bad (so it's seen as a curse). It's like if you don't try, you don't live. Does that make sense? Just every time Gumi whispers that everyone else is cursed instead, it hits me the same every time how things can be flipped and the world is seen differently (Not always for the better or for as truth, just different). I apologize if this doesn't make sense aha ^-^
Shangoo Igooroo I think the short answer for this is "To die, you just have to be alive". meaning, if you have the chance to feel and smile with fear of dying, you can live each day like there's no tomorrow. this is a motto , of course, so there exist different views about it's meaning
Judy Macoly Yeah, I'm just talking in the literal sense. I just can't blame people for not wanting to buy her confections since death is still ultimately a scary thing. Obviously I don't think the townspeople should have stepped all over her food, but I can't understand perfectly why they wouldn't buy them.

the boy"s parents died cuz of that curse too and he followed their way
This story reminded me of how Adam and Eve should've began and ended
please tell me I'm not the only one who is reminded by england because of that boy
+Mikaela Hyakuya You're not! XD
I'm so glad XD
The clothes, architecture and people looks english
I know this is late but I actually thought you were talking about Hetalia England XDD I got kinda confuse
This song reminds me of Chell and Wheatley's relationship before the core transfer...
I went to this song after read the manga version
I ship it :3
Okay but... why would you eat a fruit that would eventually kill you?

now that you say it I agree, it makes sense because it's death the girl is offering, if it's for good or bad is another discussion. interesting!
omg this is so sad alexa play despiecito
Can somebody give me a theory?
people who dont eat apples live forever the end
this song is just about a girl and boy that ate apples and died don't overthink it
Cool its the story of adam and eve( in a way)
And the characters looked a lot like dio and Aya Drevis from Mad Father!😌😌😌
Why is this still 3 digit? How do I make more people watch this?
Edit: I mean the Like
