DIHAD & IECM 2024

The 20th edition of DIHAD and the 15th edition of IECM Dubai took place last week at #DubaiWorldTradeCentre, uniting over 16,000 delegates from over 154 countries across the humanitarian aid sector to discuss innovative solutions to support those affected by crises and disasters.
We spoke to Eng. Khaled Al Attar, Director-General, DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation; Anne Lorgen Riise, Country Director - Innovation Norway Middle East, Commercial Counsellor GCC, the Royal Norwegian Embassy Abu Dhabi; Ms. Corinne Fleischer, Regional Director for the Middle East, Northern Africa and Eastern Europe, United Nations World Food Programme and Dr. Nehal Hefny, Deputy Regional Director, IFRC, on how the event serves as a hub for the humanitarian aid and development communities to collaborate, sparking new ways of supporting all those around the world who are being adversely affected by crises, disasters and natural calamities.
