Hello nice to see you again. A beautiful trip - and not far from your hometown. Beautiful lakes!!! I suppose that only forest roads (trails) were a big problem. Did you already know these areas or was this your first visit to this area? The most important thing is that your vehicle passed everything perfectly - without any defects!!! Warm regards Georg
@@JerzySmigielski-m5e Hallo Georg! We really enjoyed our week in Copper Basin. I actually took Carmelita to some of those lakes on our first date. The trail is challenging! Rough, but also sharp rocks that could cut a tire. We are running 8 ply tires on the machine which helps. We will have one more video to post from the same area, but two different lakes before archery elk season starts. I’ll hunt the entire month of September. Glad to hear from you! Hope you and Sywia are well!!!
Recently found your channel, good stuff! I'm interested in riding my quad in this area next Spring/Summer. What app or maps do you use to navigate the trails? I have OnX and Avenza, but haven't had much luck finding maps. Thanks!
@@beginning-reloading Glad you found our channel, watched and commented! In Idaho for off road trails, the MVUM maps are the best to show what trails are open and for what size vehicles (full-size, less than 50 inch, motorcycle). Here is a link to the MVUM for Copper Basin where we filmed these videos: www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5304889.pdf Let me know if I can help with anything else. I think you will enjoy exploring the high country in the Pioneer’s Copper Basin area!
@@YouDecideIsItWorthIt Thanks! I'll use that map with Avenza. I also just found the whole 5 lake loop on OnXOffroad, so between the 2, should be covered. 👍
@@beginning-reloading Perfect! I know I used the MVUM with a free version of Avenza a few years back, and it worked well as far as showing my location as a blue dot on along the trail.
Great video- thank you
Thank you! Beautiful area for sure.
Great job on your video 💯
Appreciate it
@@SASProductionsGodBlessAmerica Thank you. Very much appreciate you watching & commenting!

That is some Bad A,, trail. There sure is a lot of rocks/boulders on that RZR track. Great shots of the lakes.
@@rayduke7810 Definitely a rough ride. Amazed at the beautiful lakes and scenery that can be accessed in Copper Basin with an ATV!
