    I'm not an emotional person at all but when I hear and see what my family in Africa is doing I get overwhelmed by emotions. I'm so proud of them. It's alright to visit other countries and even want to duplicate their customs but put your own flair to it. Don't duplicate their ways. Develop the land, the culture, and stop letting foreigners take from you. I have a lot of Africans telling me Black Americans need to come back to Africa but when I asked what jobs are there for us. I'm often told to apply for jobs at the American embassy. Why if most of you speak English? Then I was told that Africans want us to bring money for investing but they don't want our skills or our input or anything they are building. However, they graciously accept the other cultures input and dominating authority. There is a majority of "Black" Americans who already to leave this country but fear what is in Africa or anywhere else for them. We are waiting on Africa to invite or rather tell us it's time to come back and say Welcome Home!

    • @bobokissa2502
      @bobokissa2502 2 года назад +1

      You don’t need our invitation to come home, all you need to do is come for holidays and see for yourself what’s on offer. We Africans that are abroad would also love an invitation from our government to help us relocate back home, instead of them investing in foreigners. But we still don’t let this stop us, the wonderful thing about Africa is you can literally be anything you want to be, you just need to save some money and be ready to either have your own business or invest !!! The rest is up to you.

    • @spiritrualityjourney3282
      @spiritrualityjourney3282 2 года назад +2

      @@bobokissa2502 Thank you. Your sentiments are so generous. I'm working on a project with Africans and other Americans to bridge the gap between us so we can all feel free to travel back and hopefully stay. With this in mind, I do hear the pros and cons from both sides and some "Black" Americans who want to invest have encountered negative responses from Africans as well as some Africans say they felt a sense of pessimistic workings or influences from "Black" Americans, Jamaicans, and Haitians. What I meant by we are awaiting an invite is more about an open invitation from the African governments. To not only publish housing and employment for English speaking people but establish a welcome center that will assist in the relocation. This center will provide all the resources necessary for a smooth transition. Lastly, an international request for one with skills that are trainable and transferable in exchange for housing and pay. There is so much strength and worth in our own culture we don't need outside influences that main goal is to take from us and not to empower us. As I've said before we can learn so much from each other. Unification should be our destination.

    Thank you for sharing this video. This guy has integrity and not some get rich quick scheme. That is how you create generational wealth and take care of your people. Taking what he learned in American and helping develop his community. I want to live in that neighborhood. Keep up the good work Shalom. There are very few people like you.

    Huge master bedroom, lovely interior decoration. I'm glad you change the narrative and have it "made in African" down with the European and western design.

    Steven thanks as always for showing us all these developments. I have a few concerns, I noticed in one of the you units the stove plug-in was above the burners. First issue is, that is not safe because of the potential heat from the burners, secondly, it doesn't look good being exposed. Another is the finishing on the doors, I noticed paint residue. Just something to convey to the builder. Great work regardless.

    Nice one Steven.
    I would like to say you are doing a good job! It's not perfect but definitely not mediocre.
    Not to worry, you will shoot beyond 100k subscribers.
    For the Shalom team, great work you are doing!
    However, the sound of your door jam and look tells me it's cheap imported quality. We have guys who make quality made in Nigeria doors. The type of doors you used shouldn't be part of affordable luxury.
    All in all, a good presentation and I love the modest interiors!
