The funny thing here is that E Gadd likely never had Bogmire, Boolossus, and King Boo as paintings before you capture them.
This implies that Luigi catches Bogmire because E Gadd convinces him that he's evil, when it was really because E Gadd hates danganronpa.

I find this game so interesting. It was kind of like Luigi's first (we don't talk about Mario is Missing) chance to get something for himself away from his brother's shadow. It also was the first time Luigi's crippling anxiety and fear was used and they haven't stopped since.
This is my second favourite game of all time. So much nostalgic bliss and gamecube goodness in this game. Merry Halloween!

Question of the day answer: If we count RPGs, my favorite would be the BiS remake. Bowser's inside story was already my favorite Mario game before, but the remake is 3 times as good IMO. The 3Ds M&L artstyle is my personal favorite, I love the battle mechanics and you of course get the best playable version of the Shelled Dragon Emperor himself. Fawful is amazing as always, Starlow shows up for the first time, excluding Minions' quest and the dark star is a genius take on Mario Party's Ztars. I love M&L's gameplay as a whole. Dodging is the best rpg mechanic ever IMO, so much so I'm borrowing it for my own game. The new Bowser Jr.'s jurney mode was also really cool. I liked the original search for bowser, but this is 8 times better. A game focused on underdeveloped children of Bowser's and his adoptive dad? A Mario character with an actual arch? Confirmation of Bowser being a good ruler and bringing back the "Koopas aren't really evil, just an opposing political force, who have been wronged by toads in some unexplained way" from PM64? This is just incredible on all fronts. My favorite Mario game and my fourth favorite RPG, tho I think it's the best one ever created.

@ depends how you look at it. If we even consider Miyamoto's word canon (which I don't), Koopalings still call him father in canon material, as well as Bowser calling himself their father in BJJ. They are, at the very least, adopted.

My main experience with Louise's mansion was its 3ds remake, not the most optimal way of playing it but I found it to be a good time except for hunting down those later boos that was a pain in my BOO-hind...Look the pun was too bad to just let it dissappear to the void.
If there was one theme I was going to die to in a hypothetical horror game situation, It would be this games main theme of this game (specifically Egad's version) because death doesn't have to be scary, also memes. Man I really should buy this game sometime.

Question of the day answer: Super Mario RPG, definitely. While not a groundbreaking game, it was smartly written, has fantastic music, and was gorgeous back in the day on the SNES. It still plays pretty well too!

Garrulous, the development of Luigi's Mansion actually predates the GameCube. Its concept and development started with the N64 DD (disk drive).

This game came out before my time but I'm kinda glad it did. If I never touched Super Paper Mario again because 10 year old me was scared of *Count freaking Bleck,* I wouldn't last 2 minutes in this game before I burned it.

-While we may not have gotten explicit confirmation that the time machine E Gadd uses is the same as from Partners in Time, we did get a _different_ bone thrown at us M&L fans, as Gooigi was actually partly made out of Coffee. Because E Gadd loves coffee and drinks it all the time. This explains why he opened up an entire coffee shop in Superstar Saga.
The funny thing about the Mansion scam is that Mario probably didn't fall for it. It's likely that Mario went ahead of time to make sure it was safe. I'm guessing he washed some of his clothes and stuff because he expected he'd win and then they'd get to keep the house. But Mario can't beat King Boo without the Poltergust, so he gets captured.
Realistically, Luigi would've noped out of the mansion and went home if Mario hadn't went first and gone missing. It's Luigi's cautiousness and fear that causes him to come out on top over King Boo, and this is consistent with Luigi's Mansion 3, where only Luigi escapes King Boo, because unlike Mario, he's too afraid and runs away, leading him to find the new Poltergust.
Personally this is my favorite game, well, ever. It’s got a lotta problems but because of the gameplay and characters it’s really good.

While I Disagree That Luigi Sucks, I'll Admit That Luigi's Probably The Most Overrated Character In The Video Game Franchise. Simply Because He's Just A Copycat Of Mario. I Mean C'mon, This Is Not Just Him, This Is Also Happening To Other Copycat Characters, Like Rey Being A Copycat Luke Skywalker, And Miles Morales Being A Copycat Peter Parker. It's Like, Really? Can't All Of You People Think Of Making A Actual Original Character Than Making A Character That Copies Everything Of The Other Character. The Fact Is That Copycat Characters Are Used To Cheapen The Story And Possibly The Brand Itself, By Being There For No Reason And/Or For Social Political Views. Tails And Knuckles Are Written Better, Since They're Not Copycats Of Sonic (Aside From Speed). While Shadow The Hedgehog Is A Sonic Copycat, The Take Of Him Was Much More Darker, And Better. Unlike Luigi, Who Despite Having Slight Different Personality, He Still A Copycat Of Mario, In Terms Of Getting Power Ups, Saving A Princess, And Others. The Only Time He's Not A Copycat, Is The Luigi Mansion Games. But Also Then, Not Only Luigi, But Also There's Wario And Waluigi, And There's Daisy (A Copycat Of Peach). Total Copycat World. In Conclusion, I Said Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, And Daisy Are Overrated Characters In The Mario Franchise.
