The amazing thing is she was so in love with King Edward, even when he died she did not want to let the Undertakers take away his body for some considerable time, she was so loyal too, showing support for him and I read somewhere (if this is true) that she could not bear anyone to say anything bad about him and he in fact would not allow any of his mistresses to be disrespectful to her - the least he could do imho!
You always find the best photos! And I know you meant well with this presentation, but there are several mistakes, which have been noted. Here's one more... Edward's sister, Victoria, was not Alexandra's "good friend ." Victoria had only met her once before. Vicky was simply the one tasked with finding an appropriate princess for her brother. She picked Alexandra from portraits and from intel passed on from other sources.
She was only poor by royal standards ,not impoverished. They slept in an attic room and were brought up to do many tasks not expected to be done by royal Princess. They were a very happy family. She never worked as a waitress to make ends meet !
Actually that not a true statement. Full of passion, just not accurate. Alexandra shared a draughty attic bedroom with her sister, Dagmar, made her own clothes, and waited at table along with her sisters. Thank you.
If you do a 360-degree turn, you end up in the same place you started. If you want to say somebody ended up in the opposite position, it's a 180 degree turn.
Alexandra was NOT a waitress. Her father was heir to the Danish throne, and it would have caused such a scandal if she was. Queen Victoria would also never have allowed Edward to marry a woman who did an honest day's work..
She was not a waitress, she and her sisters waited at table in their father’s house. They didn’t have many servants. She also made most of her own clothes.
@@theroyalhive2023 I never said they assisted with lunch and dinner not sure what you are getting at. They waited on table in their father’s house meaning they took the place of what would have been a servants job in most royal households. A big difference. Definitely did not work for money as a waitress outside of her father’s house. She was engaged to the first Prince of Wales when she was 16. This is so easily checked.
While that is an impassioned speech, it isn’t an accurate speech. Alexandra shared a draughty attic bedroom with her sister, Dagmar, made her own clothes, and waited at table along with her sisters. Thank you
Princess Alexandra of Denmark met, by arrangement, Prince Albert Edward in September 1861 and in December 1861 it was obvious that Alexandra was pregnant. Prince Albert furiously confronted his son concerning the pregnancy, which was covered up with the suggestion it was an affair with an actress. Alexandra was sent to South Africa where she met the intended foster parents and in June 1862, their son was born, unannounced, baptized with an assumed name and sadly abandoned. She returned home to become engaged to Prince Albert Edward, later marrying him, legitimising their eldest son, whose descendants have irrefutable DNA evidence of their zero distance between them and the Royal Family relatives. Zero distance irrefutable DNA evidence.
She was born Royal, and ofcourse she and her family didnt have as much riches as the British Royals bc our country is not as big as the British, simple as that.
Me too. The RF under KC seems to have lost some people’s respect. Too much airing of dirty laundry in public. Charles’ interpretation of ‘a life of service’ seems to involve his subjects being of service to HIM, instead of the other way around. He’s got everything he wanted, the British people have got Camilla as Queen, whether they wanted it or not. I have to admit the vision of the two of them being crowned together was galling.
Alexandra was born a princess! What is all this other garbage you are spewing? Impoverished? NO! just not exuberant, like the British & Russian Royals Waitress? NO! never Princess Alexandra was clever, a handsome woman, tri-lingual (plus english) Sister to the Zarina of Russia, daughter to the King of Denmark and the Queen of England ❤ Better research, plz
Queen Alexandra was so awesome in her personality and dress. She had a hard time during her marriage to that creep! Thank you for this video.😊

She didn't "become"a royal." Her father was a king.
Her father didn’t become king until after Alexander became an adult
@@sheilap7204She was born a royal either way. She didn’t “become a royal” like this narrator is saying.

Right. A lot of people make the 360 mistake. If you do a 180 you are on the opposite side of where you started.

Full 180. Not full 360.

3:38? 😂
I prefer to do a full 360 tbf 😂🥴
If 360 is ‘full’ then a 180 would be a ‘half’ wouldn’t it ? But that makes no sense either.
