No oil dipstick? How to check oil level on Land Rover Discovery 5 2019

In this tutorial see how to check the engine oil level on Land Rover models via the driver information display (Instrument Panel Cluster).
Conditions:
Make sure that the vehicle is left for 5 minutes from filling with oil, and that the engine oil level is reading at least minimum, before starting the engine.
Make sure that the vehicle is parked on level ground.
Make sure that the selector lever and the gearshift mechanism are in the park (P) position.
Make sure that the bonnet is open.
If the engine has been started, allow 10 minutes from the engine switch off for the engine oil level to stabilise.
Using the steering wheel control pad, Press the Right arrow to open menu.
Press the Down Arrow and scroll down to Service Menu.
Press Right arrow to enter service menu.
Press the Down Arrow and scroll down to Oil Level Display.
Press Ok to display oil level.
The OK Range down to the Oil icon, indicates that the oil level is approximately 1.8 Litre low.
The Minimum range indicates that the oil level is approximately 3.7 Litres low.
The Max indicator level shows that the vehicle is full at 7.5 Litres of oil.

Not sure if these have the same feature, but on my 2011 L322, You can turn off the engine, and then access the oil menu, but when it says ‘ not available’ if your bonnet is up, click cancel twice in quick succession and it will give you a readout. Whether that is entirely accurate, especially if you’ve literally just turned the engine off is another matter but at least you don’t have to wait the full 15 mins

It was helpful but if you ever "update" this video you mentioned turn engine after warmup off, wait 10 or more minutes, then said "Push Ok Button" ahd this is what I was looking for is it (the Ok button on the wheel like BMW) or is it off a control on center console (BMW example)? I'm sure I'll figure out where the "Ok Button" is but a simple move of the camera and I'd be ready!

My 2017 Hilux runs out of oil before the service light bloody comes on. Not happy but apparently the dealership says it falls on customers to check it frequently as it’s normal

That's quite appalling really. When you say out of oil do you mean completely? Or just below the stick?

What does it say? Does it have the min and max image or it doesn't appear at all?

Have you seen the "Radar Sensor Blocked" message when you try and use the cruise control? My cruise control works for about 5 minutes after starting the car and then the "driver intervene" message appears and it disengages.

I do apologize for not getting back sooner, I had to stop the videos for a while as our new born had a stroke during the lockdown and has been left with severe brain damage and cerebral palsy. So apologies for not replying. Did you sort your cruise control issue?

As far as I remember and ironically the software makes you have to warm the engine to operating temperature first. A point of which mechanics have always said if any damage was going to happen due to oil starvation it's then.
