Katie Ledecky passed 800m in 8:11,70 during this 1500m swim which is 2,4 seconds faster than the 800m women's WR before the Ledecky era and faster than any other woman has ever swum the 800m freestyle. She owns 30 of the fastest 800m swims and over 20 of the fastest 1500m swims in competitive women's swimming. If this is not total domination I don't know what is.
