Well I have ordered like I said before, the 2022 Toyota RAV4 adventure hybrid safari green with black seats and plenty of orange in the interior. And if I couldn’t get that trim level, it would be the limited. There are delays in NZ. Now mine is arriving in July, not May. Limiteds arrive in November. Happy new year America. NZ

We just ordered our XLE Premium through our local dealership and are so excited! You've made our researching very entertaining and I want to thank you for that. You're a great salesman! We unfortunately lost our 2012 Rav4 on 2/2/22 in a red-light running accident (other driver's fault) and, although we are fine, she was declared a total loss 😥 we had nearly 9 wonderful years with her, so it was a no-brainer to start our next chapter with a new Rav4! They are such great cars, and obviously very safe and reliable. Looking forward to the next 9+ years with our new baby! 😀
I got a brand new 2022 RAV4 Hybrid. I've got 1,500 miles on it commuting to and from work. Here in Maine, if I use eco, stay 5 mph under the speed limit, and drive like my grandmother, I am lucky to get 32 mpg from my hybrid in January, February, and March. I went to the dealer today and they said, "Oh yea, you'll get 10 mpg more in the summer... if you don't use your air conditioning." I like the car, but don't expect to get any where near the stated mpg. It's better than the 22 mpg I was getting from my old Subaru Legacy, but my son gets better mileage from his non-hybrid Subaru Impreza.
Yea, I'm on 600 mi now, and I noticed that the device reader says I am getting 38-42mpg, but compared to the distance I have been travelling(and measuring the total miles left tank, I noticed it eats 18 miles for a 10mi drive for example. It seems near 28-32 mpg.. Maybe I need to wear it in first, but I noticed that it does not get the stated mpg.
I love the nutmeg interior , out here in the west where I live you cannot find one , out here in California the nutmeg interior cars are nonexistent but if you live in the central for the United States or the East you can find them .
The XLE premium RAV4 is a good upgrade from the standard XLE as long as you don't add too many options to it. If you do you're just as well off to get the limited as they are close to the same price.

I like the white and pearl white colors however I really like the lunar rock as well it really makes the vehicle pop out ! I bet the reason is because Lunar rock is a more sporty look and The Limited is the Luxury trim.
Tbh honest i love the xle premium in black and plan to add full package, which would be equivalent to the limited price-wise. The only reason that I don’t want the limited is because of the chrome accents, which are only visually pleasing on the front grill but not the rear, door handles etc…
Wow I was 100% just going to grab the XLE with convenience package to save some money on the premium. But damn, those new smoky gray rims seem like they would look incredible on the lunar rock color I want. Now you got me torn! I guess I'll probably go with which ever one is available first to me on a waitlist here in LA.

IMO it’s a shame 2022 RAV4s don’t come with Toyota Safety sense 2.5+ that comes standard with 2021 Highlanders ..! Also power lift not available is also very uncool
Happy New Year Jeff from 🇨🇦 Would love to see a 2022 Limited Hybrid! Yes, disappointing the RAV4’s haven’t got the 2.5. Big price hike for XSE and Limited to not include 2.5 safety sense. I don’t care for the beige because it looks funny not carrying it over to rest of car. From the posts up it’s grey. Looks odd not tying the beige in to rest of car.
The XLE is honestly not worth my buck. I like the different rim color rim, but the style is so basic. Wish they didn’t take off the fog lights & at least add TSS 2.5 for XLE & above. Might just wait to get a decked out Corolla Cross hybrid, or get the RAV4 SE hybrid. Anyways, love these cars haha
@@kevcube There is not that much difference between the two.. I have a 2020 Camry XLE with the cross traffic alert / sensors on the bumpers and it recognizes everything that's in the way front and sides. It won't let you hit anything.. It will stop you first. It is a great safety feature !

After seeing the 2022 Model Jeff I'll go look for a good used 2019 - 21 I don't like the wheels on these new 2022 year model . Another thing I like on the 2019-21 is the standard USB ports , not the micro USB ports . Toyota still has NO POWER PASSENGER SEAT , Like the competition , that is what they should have done to improve this SUV .
My rav4 will come from Japan too this spring (in Europe all rav4 comes from Japan I think) in this green I hope (the color and the package names are different here) as it looks great :)
I like the XLE Premium because of the standard features. I have 1 question. Does the power front seat come with the memory button for both drivers? Our 2015 Rav has that and we love it for convience.

First, you didn't order a new Rav4. Toyota doesn't offer an ordering process of any kind. It's dealer allocation only. As far as the XLE Premium goes, heated seats/heated steering wheel/wipers/etc. come as a result of packages added to a standard XLE Premium. They aren't standard on it.
@@sawyermartin4434 So then what did I build online, pick all my options and put a deposit on then? That process is called ORDERING. You must be from the states cause here in Canada where weather is always unpredictable, you don’t have individual feature upgrades it’s either included with the trim level or it’s not.
@@andrewkrysinski5069 My mistake man, didn't realize you were from Canada! My comment applies to the United States for both the ordering option & for the vehicle features. & yes, the cold weather package is what gives you the features I mentioned on an XLE Premium here in the states.

Hey Jeff, I've seen a little difference in headlight between different trim which is signal light, XLE/TRAIL are same type of signal light and SE/XSE/Limited another type of it do you know why? Is that mean different function?
If if I remember John it was about a year-and-a-half ago that he showed you how to do this . Yes a full-size spare can be put in if you want to see the review from Alex on Autos he put a full size spare and his RAV4 hybrid if you watch his review he'll show you how it's done .
Alex shows how you take out the original small spare tire and then he put on a matching spare wheel you do have to modify the foam liner and he shows you how to do that .
Everything looks nice but a 7inch screen in a 2022 Popular Suv? really? I understand if it’s a base entry level model to have a smaller screen, but this is a “Premium” model, 10.5inch screen would be more suitable
What kind of tow capability does the XLE premium have? IE. If we were to have a tow bar installed could we tow a small flatbed trailer to haul furniture? Could we tow a small camper to different campgrounds safely?
If I understand correctly, all the USB ports were updated to USB-C, *except* for the media port (where you connect for Apple Car Play or Android Auto). That was left as USB-A. Why would they update all the USB ports except the most important one? Is it possible to change the media port to USB-C? (And I don’t mean an adapter - I mean actually swap out the port).

I only want the Toyota's made in Japan! Build, quality control and the workers are serious about taking pride in what they do. Toyota's quality has gone downhill ever since they were built here in America!!
Guess that leaves you down to a Prius or 4runner, as your choices for Japan builds. Of course there’s the sports cars. Lotta Lexus models thankfully still made in Japan

Also Corolla hybrids, RAV4 prime are only built in Japan. some gas corollas too, and some CH-R’s. I work for a Toyota dealer and the ones made in Japan are definitely nicer.
Hey Jeff, question, I wanted a XLE hybrid but not the premium. Our dealership said its about $1,200 to add on “leather”, but my question is, that added leather, is it the soft Tex, or a higher graded leather material??
Does Toyota rav4 hybrid xle premium have right side mirror cameras which can help by providing visuals on the information system when I have the right blinker on?
Anyone here own a previous generation rav4 gasoline model and now owns this generation model see a difference in real world mpg and range. I know on paper but what's your experience. My current 2013 rav, I gassed up about every 2 weeks, if the new rav can extend up to 3 weeks , I'm considering buying a new gasoline model instead of a hybrid to save some money.

You started that the Tire Size on one was 235/65 R17, and the other you just said it was a 18" Rim. But what's the Tire Size on that 18" Rim. It looks thinner that the 17" Tire.

Im in Texas, Maybe its your area and driving, i got 6000+ miles and i ride in eco, i get 44 mpg, just saying!

The 2022 XLE doesn't come with fog lights whereas the 2021 XLE did... that's disappointing that they downgraded it.
And even with foglight on, it still have bad visibility at night. It stupid that they choose this route.

TSS 2.5+ and 2.0 are HARDLY different.

They don’t do id suggest going up to the xle premium even thought they come with both the moonroof and softex (leather) seats.

I like the Ruby Red Pearl XLE Premium Hybrid with the soft-tech seats, power moonroof, and power lift gate. Is it all wheel drive too?
All wheel drive is standard on all RAV4 hybrids. There is no option for front wheel hybrid
I love the color of the none premium model. Fog lights can be placed after market.

I only want the Toyota's made in Japan! Build, quality control and the workers are serious about taking pride in what they do. Toyota's quality has gone downhill ever since they were built here in America!!
Guess that leaves you down to a Prius or 4runner, as your choices for Japan builds. Of course there’s the sports cars. Lotta Lexus models thankfully still made in Japan
@@jonathanratliff4780you are right but actually that RAV4 hybrid Jeff just showed was built in japan. Seen on the window sticker. Also Corolla hybrids, RAV4 prime are only built in Japan. some gas corollas too, and some CH-R’s. I work for a Toyota dealer and the ones made in Japan are definitely nicer.

Hey Jeff, question, I wanted a XLE hybrid but not the premium. Our dealership said its about $1,200 to add on “leather”, but my question is, that added leather, is it the soft Tex, or a higher graded leather material??
It’s all softex on the RAVs
If you are going to do the the " tan ' interior, I would recommend the Softex. Cloth is a dirt magnet.

Anyone here own a previous generation rav4 gasoline model and now owns this generation model see a difference in real world mpg and range. I know on paper but what's your experience. My current 2013 rav, I gassed up about every 2 weeks, if the new rav can extend up to 3 weeks , I'm considering buying a new gasoline model instead of a hybrid to save some money.
Is the hybrid worse on gas? I’ve notice I get better mpg then some people with hybrid 😂

You started that the Tire Size on one was 235/65 R17, and the other you just said it was a 18" Rim. But what's the Tire Size on that 18" Rim. It looks thinner that the 17" Tire.
