If the SEBO Felix had a front light and a long wand like the X7, then this would become my daily use machine. If you have any thoughts, drop them in the comments :)
I realize this video is over a year old but I just wanted to share something with you. I recently ordered the Sebo E3 Premium which has the ET-1 powerhead and was bummed about it not having a light, so I ordered a led rechargeable headlamp and will attach it with velcro to the powerhead. It's not ideal for those who are purists and don't want to stick something on their machines, but for me with aging eyes and bad lighting conditions, this will work perfectly for my needs. Anyway, thanks for the video!
I bought this vacuum a month ago. It's great. I do wish the hose was quicker to remove/add. A light on the front would be nice too. Aside from that, it's pretty damn nice.
I'm planning to get a Felix. Thanks for the preview and tips. I'll probably get a wand with it. Maybe the dealer will throw one in. Is your "pipe" an official Sebo accessory, or a simple PVC pipe? I also have a turbo-brush head upholstery attachment that might work with it. Works off the suction, not with a separate motor.
Thank you very much, that's really appreciated 👍😁 I don't know if you've seen them but I've also done full house clean reviews with 2 other vacuums - the X7 and a Hoover H 500.
Have you considered a second tool holder and sliding the one you currently have down the handle so you can keep all the tools onboard together. It won't let you keep the second tube but would allow the attachments to stay with the machine. Could some velcro or hook and loop tape on the wand and side of the machine keep the tube handy?
Heya thanks for this video. I got one of these around 2 years I think and I love it. Exact same one of yours. It gives such a deep clean. I dont like the X7 at all.
I love the dog give him a hug for me . I love the Felix. I agree about the Light . Ive been feeling so down since my dog died I treated myself to a new vacuum . I bought a mango red Miele U1 Homecare upright vac . Breifly comparing it to my Felix its a little bigger but the swivel is very very good , with the cord and wand its reach is the same as my Sebo D4. Between the Felix and U1 each has stellar festures that if combined would make the perfect Vac . I dont think I can like one over the other because they r great in different reasons. They both look great in red i think but my felix is onyx like my D4 as they put the better warranty on those. What music do u like to listen to when cleaning ? I like classical but also enjoy Kenny Loggins foot loose . Makes time fly
I purchased a Sebo e3 premium based on your reviews and love it. Do you know if the UK will be getting the more powerful 1200watts models again or will you be stuck with the EU 900watts models? Thanks again for sharing, Brian
It's good to know my reviews are useful 👍😁 You raise an interesting point about wattage. Now we're not part of the EU I wonder if it might change. TBH, I don't think it needs more power. Having to work with less has made manufacturers build more efficient machines. I think that's the case anyway 😏
I also do professhional cleaning and use a shark apex and love it. All the left away features and lights are very helpful in navigating through a home in getting in award places. I can get my shark to last around 6 to 8 months before I see ware and tear and need to replace parts or buy a new one. I usually find them used for cheaper. As a professhional cleaner I've been looking around to for something more robust and higher quality that can last longer. Between this and your shark would you recommend getting a felix? The only turn off for me is the bags. How long do your bags last after cleaning for a week?
I much prefer the Felix. And the bags are a bonus because you don't have to deal with dirty tanks and filters. I find each bag lasts about a week which fit me = approx 16 full house cleans. The bags cost about £10 for 8 which last approx 2 months.
You're very welcome and I'm glad you've found it helpful. As far as I'm aware there is no difference in them. Even the Dart is the same. It's just a colour thing.
We've moved the house recently, at last. Had new carpets fitted and I'm so tempted to get this machine again. We've had it in the past but was sold as the house we were living in was too small for it and had two flights of stairs. It was just really tiring. I think it could be good in our new house though. I'm just really worried that it might not work on our new carpets. Not sure what kind of carpet it is, it's quite thick and soft. Is it easy to push when you go over deeper pile carpets?
I have just purchased the Sebo Felix , I'm not getting the click when closing the bag compartment so it doesn't feel like it cloding properly would you have any ideas as to what might be the problem.

Do you think this is better than the canister e3? I plan on using whatever Sebo I decide to go with for dusting, doing stairs, pretty much everything. But I can’t deicide if I want the Felix or the e3.
Good that you have positive experience with the Felix however have you seen other RUclips reviews that show it has extremely poor filtration? Do you think that could have been a faulty unit?
I think that most be a faulty unit. Not sure if you've seen the other Felix videos I've done but I still haven't replaced the internal filter after over the equivalent of 5 years use. If filtration was an issue then that's where it would show.
We have had our Dyson ball for a good 13 years and while it's been reliable and decent vac we are looking to replace it with a different bagged upright as we don't like all the mess of emptying the Dyson. We have looking at getting a sebo Felix, X7 pet or X8 for daily use but not sure which to go for, any suggestions?
It really does depend on your needs. The X7 despite being a heavier machine is lighter on the floor but it has a great light, brilliant wand, and larger capacity tank, but the head is bigger and not so good at getting under things as the Felix. The Felix is more nimble, has a shorter but still useful wand/pipe, low profile for getting under furniture but no light and is more liable to topple when used upright. Both are excellent 😁👍
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner hmm decisions decisions, I want something that's good on all floor types and really good on stairs, I'm just a little concerned that the X7 might not get stubborn ground in dirt out with it having a auto height adjustment and the fact that you can't turn off the carpet roller for hard floors, wand looks easily accessible compared to the Felix though and cleaning stairs would be okay with the X7 because I would get the pet version which comes with the extension tube
James Dyson used to say years ago that bag hoovers only work for a short time then lose most of the suction .. Obviously not true as Sebo models are used throughout industry.
@@stuartchester6899 absolutely! Dyson's marketing ploy was to put everyone else down. I find cyclone machines filthy too deal with in my trade. I had a Shark for a while - had to empty it after every house into a bin liner, and had to clean the filters weekly. Bear in mind that with me, weekly is the equivalent of a standard household use of 3 months. So every 3 months you'd have to clean the crappy filters. Yeah, cyclone machines, they're messy.
Hello, think that I bought my sebo felix pet only after I watched your first review of the machine and I must say I love it. The only thing that annoys me it's that the powerhead walks alone in my carpeting so hoovering is kinda a workout LOL ;-) I work for Vowerk, did you ever consider trying the VK200?
The VK200 does not come with a hose/wand (yes, you can convert it, but it's totally impractical), and the bag is only about half the size of the Felix'; plus it is a bottom filler.
That's a great idea for those who really want a light on the business end of their floor vac! I personally don't mind with how powerful and versatile this vacuum is.
Why have stair/upholstery tools not been updated since the stone age? I mean, I do not want to have to use a TINY attachment to go over a sofa or stairs three inches at a time. COME ON, vacuum cleaner manufacturers: make that head big enough to do a sofa or chair more quickly, in a few swipes instead of microscopically small swipes. I can't see any reason why the head for my sofa should be so small when I'm vacuuming big swathes of upholstery. And the stair head should be at least as wide as the standard stair tread, not half the width or less. Why can't I just run the stair head along the entire tread from left to right and clean the entire tread - including the long edge of the riser - in one sweep?
If the SEBO Felix had a front light and a long wand like the X7, then this would become my daily use machine.
If you have any thoughts, drop them in the comments :)
Add an LED strip to the front.. and their should be an accessory to get a long wand a boom🤣🤣perfect vac
