    Question: say I am in clinic, and have a patient show up for an appt with some kind of chest pain or something that makes me get an EKG. I see hyperacute T waves, I wait and repeat in 15min an its evolving, is that a 911 ambulance ride, have a family member take them, or essentially how urgent is it from the time I first notice hyperacute T waves?

      I would not wait for a repeat EKG…hyperacute T waves are due to an occlusion myocardial infarction…the 1st ECG is an automatic 911 call

      Agreed if there is any concern of ischemia/OMI...better to talk to cardiology for Cath lab
