I travelled down from Scotland today to Quality Nishikigoi. Tim says my pond has a ‘wierd and wonderful’ collection as I’m not into go sanke. I bought 3 tosai (karashigoi, yamabuki ogon and a gin matsuba)and next spring’s UV bulb. I was treated with the same courtesy as buyers who were spending big money. Well worth the journey every time.
He's ok for a wool 🤣
Your pond is what you like. That's why the wierd fish sale someone will like them. Care on buying what you like.

Any more updates on next tosi release please
Tim, I see you use a floating bowl to move fish. The ones I have seen seem a bit expensive for how often I would use it. What is your opinion of floating fish nets as an alternative which are much cheaper?
The baskets we use are excellent and even though maybe expensive they are worth every penny. Nets can sometimes damage the fish
@@TimWaddington Thanks for the very, very quick reply - much kudos for that! Apologies for my lack of knowledge, but why would a solid, rigid plastic frame potentially cause less injury than a soft fabric net?
@@Veterankoi the net can trap the fins and also rub noses. The basket has no sharp sides and makes it easier to control the fish
@@TimWaddington Get it 👍
I chose wrong weekend to come lol
So. Tell me about PP. I always aim for 4 hours but you said that was rubbish. So how are you doing it Tim?
Depends what I’m treating for. I use different doses. I don’t want to share the doses on here because people’s water differs from area. I never use peroxide unless I’m using PP on a brand new pond before any fish go in. I just leave it and let it work.
