- The eldest of three sisters, Amani Liaquat was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour after collapsing at home on her 22nd birthday in April 2020.
The coronavirus lockdown meant she had to endure brain surgery and numerous scans with no visitors allowed at her bedside during a 12-day stay in hospital. After standard of care failed to stop the growth of her tumour the family were left in the difficult position of having to source lifesaving treatment from Germany. Thanks to the generosity of family, friends, and complete strangers, over £100,000 was quickly raised to help finance this.

My parents took care of my sister who died of lung disease in 2018 aged 33.
Every emotion that I saw my parents go through, I can see in Amanis parents.

My mum had brain tumour when I was 10 years old her right side of her body was paralysed. She died when she was 50. She had so much sabar she accepted every problem with a smile.

My family had to take care of my dad as he battled a rare type of cancer called sarcoma cancer. He was a fighter. Despite that, my dad unfortunately lost his battle just before midnight on March 5, 2020. Literally days after my dad's funeral, COVID shut down everything. I would have been more devastated if we could not even give my dad a proper farewell. I'd give anything to talk to my dad again... I didn't even get to say goodbye since he passed in his sleep.
Seeing stories of Amani and Tom Parker and their battles against cancer... they're true heroes and inspirations. Such a damn shame they both lost their fights at a young age. My dad was 63.... Tom was 33 and Amani was 23. I do hope more can be done to treat aggressive brain cancer so that no family has to suffer losing beautiful people like Tom and Amani.
Here in America, sarcoma cancer is not a common cancer and I wish to teach other what it is and the toll it took on my dad. It basically ate away his muscles in his bones and made his body frail and weak. Yeah... it was not a good time to watch him as he mentally and physically fade away.
Please, take care everyone. Hug your love parents. Tell them you love them. I did not get that with my dad before I lost him and that's the biggest regret I have to live with for the rest of my life.

This is life guys, I was healthy 6 months ago, just studying my college and Quran, out of nowhere, I got really sick, could not walk and most of the staff were related to physical health issues(abdominal issues, vision issues, fatigue, joint pain, neck pain, back pain) and the worst part was anxiety, panic attack, stress, depression. I am better than before little bit Alhamdualliah but also there are some effects that am battling right now and kind of scared which are, constipation(Not going to the bathroom for weeks sometimes), GERD, Tourette syndrome, and some other physical issues as well. This means that nothing is granted, you could day the next sec/mint coz no one knows when and healthy is not granted. I hoping to see a doctor so they can help me because I will rather die suffering from this excruciating pain daily basis. May Allah take away and give mercy to those who are suffering. May Allah give her the highest Jannah and put her better place and all of us. Ameen! Just remember everything is temporary in this world no matter what it is, eventually each one of us will day one day and none of us are getting skipped.

Amarni, please read the book written by Dr Thomas Seyfried on cancer as a metabolic disease. I was diagnosed with grade 3 brain tumor in March 20th 2020. This book changed my life and keto is amazing. Its kept my brain tumor stable and I am currently just having mri scans every 4 months. I will pray for you 🙏🏻 xxx

Unfortunately Amani passed away peacefully yesterday early hours. She had her family with her.
The funeral was today and it was just beautiful. So many people came to say goodbye 💜💜💜

I was sad to see she had to have 30 tablets a day, that must’ve been so hard. We need more research free from propaganda and corruption on the real causes of cancer. People don’t realise the poison and toxins that are in food and everything around us. I hope this message helps someone
